Not even worth a dollar and they charge more

I was desperate and fell for it , a literal scam. You pay a dollar, and without telling you, the next week they automatically charge you $40. A fing scam. Don’t download it. It wasn’t even worth a dollar

I had a very negative experience with…they charged me 195 $


I had a very negative experience with Rentola.com.au. I entered my card number once for a small $2 payment, but they saved my card and started charging me $65 every month without my consent. On the website, it is not possible to cancel or remove your payment method. The terms and conditions seem to be accepted automatically during registration, without proper user control.
They also generate receipts automatically without any personal name or proper identification, and they don't send the reciept to you they kep on the website, making it difficult to track payments.
Be very careful: the service can generate recurring charges without warning, and the payment management is not transparent. My experience with Rentola was frustrating and disappointing.

ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! Report as fraud ASAP!
They will tell you its $2 sign up then proceed to take $65 from you monthly and make it impossible to cancel your subscription. You will need to call your bank ASAP and report as fraud to stop payments.

This website is a scam

This website is a scam! The houses posted was never available, I was charged $2 to send message, never received any messages back and somehow I have been charged $65 a month ever since without me knowing even though I didnt continue with the subscription and now I am unable to cancel!!! Have lost 500 now!

I don’t understand how I came to sign…

I don’t understand how I came to sign up for a premium account. It was certainly not my intention. I was astonished to find $65 had been taken from my bank account and I feel I was somehow tricked. Or maybe I was just confused. Whatever, I have lost $65 for a service that amounts to nothing that is not available freely on other websites.

I would rate 0 if I could, I paid the 2 dollars and then once I was able to view the listing it put me on to the direct website to book, which is basically wasting your money when you could source the site yourself anyways after that I cancelled the membership and they are trying to take 65 out of my account DO NOT GUVE THEM ANY OF YOUR ACC INFO

Warning You can’t unsubscribe!!

You can’t unsubscribe!!! It makes you pay to contact landlords ($2) which then makes a subscription without you knowing it but $65 or more gets taken from my bank account this is so unacceptable and unprofessional. Just scammers taking money from people. That is so disgusting and disrespectful. I want all my money back you stole from me asap!

SCAM do not trust

SCAM. DO NOT BUY INTO THE $2 INITIAL CHARGE. This company charges more money from you once they have your details - they never send notifications prior to this 'subscription' starting and I emailed their service email address multiple times asking about this and they continually rejected all my questions.
I stopped the subscription and never received a refund - despite this request being within Australian consumer law.

Do not trust this "company".

Paid $2 to join

Paid $2 to join, all properties on website were already rented through various real estate agents. One week later tried to debit $65 from my card.
Tried to log in to see if I had a subscription, log in details didn’t work and when I requested a new log in, it never came through.

They were supposed to take out only $2…

They were supposed to take out only $2 from my account. I noticed they actually took out $65 without my authority. I have notified my bank to stop them from doing this again and believe they are scammers as I can’t even get in contact with anyone

Almost a scam

They don't say you only get a couple of days trial before they bill you and deduct the full price $65. I used it on only 1 day and shortly after was admitted to hospital for surgery. Home this week and I saw the $65 charge. This is almost a scam. What company offers trials of 2-3 days only. I asked for a refund (because I couldn't close the account online) and told them of my medical issue which is why I didn't get onto it straight away. Nope, they're not issuing a refund. It better be cancelled now. Hugely disappointing experience. Who in their right mind would pay $65 a MONTH for a property search website.

Fraudulent scammers! Deceitful services!

Fraudulent scammers!
You are deceitful in your cancellation of the payment method as was prior cancellation to avoid repeat Debit.
The fact that you charge for these services in such a huge rental market with already too many salesman and not enough people out their building houses highlights agreed and the unnecessary increase in housing prices and rental for properties that have not been upgraded let alone meet Code.
