Almost a scam
They don't say you only get a couple of days trial before they bill you and deduct the full price $65. I used it on only 1 day and shortly after was admitted to hospital for surgery. Home this week and I saw the $65 charge. This is almost a scam. What company offers trials of 2-3 days only. I asked for a refund (because I couldn't close the account online) and told them of my medical issue which is why I didn't get onto it straight away. Nope, they're not issuing a refund. It better be cancelled now. Hugely disappointing experience. Who in their right mind would pay $65 a MONTH for a property search website.

Fraudulent scammers! Deceitful services!
Fraudulent scammers!
You are deceitful in your cancellation of the payment method as was prior cancellation to avoid repeat Debit.
The fact that you charge for these services in such a huge rental market with already too many salesman and not enough people out their building houses highlights agreed and the unnecessary increase in housing prices and rental for properties that have not been upgraded let alone meet Code.

Pointless, expensive, annoying
All it does is send you to websites of property managers - absolutely no value add from an incredibly expensive service. Also enforces a 24 hour period before cancelling a trial.

If I could do no star that would be my rating. They charge $65 after a 7day trial. If I had known it was that much I wouldn’t have signed up. I’ve emailed and tried to get a refund actually cancelling my subscription them knowing I never used the advantages of the subscription. So disappointed and would never recommend this app to anyone

Beware, this company is a scam!
Beware, this company is a scam!
They list properties that are unavailable and charge you to make contact with the landlord only to lead you to an independent website that informs that the property is no longer available. I kindly requested a refund aswell notifying them of the listing so they could remove it. Across 4 emails, with very slow response time, they've refused a refund and the Toorak property is still the top of their listings.

Scam, there are listings have been rented out for a month already but you still have to pay before you find out. Other listings you can already find for free on other sites.

None of the places advertised are actually promoted by the owner. Rather you are redirected to a real estate agent that charges significantly more than the "lowball" price advertised on Rentola to suck you in.

If I could give zero I would rate it. This is a fraud site. Paid for this s**t rental ads copied from other sites and when you click the property it says contract landlord and there’s no way to contact them! Worse, they will charge you for nothing! Don’t visit or click their ad please.

SCAM-Do not use this website
Do not use this website. Rentola operates unethically by retaining your bank details and charging your account without clear consent or authorization. Their system is deceptive, and no cancellation.
It feels like their primary targets are vulnerable people who are already struggling to find a place to live. Instead of helping, they exploit your situation by taking money without delivering any real service or value.
This is a total scam, and I strongly urge others to stay away from this platform. Use more reputable and transparent rental websites instead.

Biggest scam!!
Biggest scam I got the $2 intro and nothing on the app worked, and the link to contact landlords just didn’t work. Nothing was up to date info either. I was charged $65 a week later for a useless service.

Scam app
I used the app for the $2 introductory period to do a real estate search in December and I believed I cancelled it back then. I now see I have been subsequently charged monthly $65 since 5 January 2025. This is utterly outrageous theft. I am owed a refund of $455 AUD.

Do Not Sign Up: Scam
If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I signed up for what I thought was a FREE trial, only to be charged around $200 for a service I couldn't effectively use.
- The listings weren't updated
- I couldn't contact the landlords directly with contact details accurately
- Rentola attempted to charge my account AFTER I had confirmed cancellation in writing
Do yourself a favour and do not sign up for this website that claims to help people and only takes advantage of them

100% SCAM. Initial charge or $0.06c for international fee followed by a $2.00 fee to unlock landord details, only to find 90% of listings are all real estates, (freely accessable information without this site).

I got scammed by this company- don't trust them. Their product is terrible and the trial is set up to trick you into paying $65 a month even if you cancel the trial.

Didn't cancel subscription and still charged.
This company Rentola ignored my email that I specifically asked to cancel my subscription in the same day that I registered and they still charged a fee, even that I had tried to cancel multiple times using various forms.
Still trying to get my money back from these schamers.
