When the policy was taken out via GoCompare, you were asked to confirm your occupation and industry, which you confirmed as a kitchen worker in the kitchen fitting industry. During the validation call with our team, you confirmed that you are a chef in the fast food industry.
The correct information must be provided to any insurance company. Had your policy been allowed to continue unaltered, you could have faced serious problems in the event of needing to make a claim. It is better for you if we check your information at the start of your policy so that if you need to make a claim, it can be handled swiftly and without delay.
Because this information had been given incorrectly, your policy needed updating, but unfortunately the insurer is unable to provide cover for that occupation and industry.
During your interaction with our team, they provided accurate, well-informed answers in a clear and concise manner. While we understand this may not have been the outcome you were anticipating, our review confirms that the information shared was correct and handled professionally.
