I purchased my Roofbunk Explorer XL nearly a year ago, I used it loads in summer and autumn and really wanted to keep using it in the colder months so I recently purchased the thermal liner and used it for the first time last night and it was amazing. Kept me and my kids so warm we even had to open the window a little bit in the night and it was 0*c outside.

Ordered the awning now for even more adventures.

Hi bought my first roof bunk roamer second hand for my discovery and its brilliant me and my 8year old love it we was on a montatain side with wind banging against it and it stood there really good didn't leek plenty of room for us two just best purchase I've made in a while

I bought the XL roofbunk for our recent trip to Scotland. I had done a bit of research and had chosen Roofbunk over other brands, mainly because of the build quality. Well, what can I say, this little Roof tent is amazing! Whilst in Scotland we had what could only be described as the worst weather for camping, deluge after deluge😅 This tent held up to all Scotland had to throw at us! We were on the Isle of Skye in 60+ MPH winds, and whilst recommendations do not encourage using the tent in these conditions, we had no choice. And boy did it hold up. Most of the other campers ended up in the toilet block, on the floor with their sleepingbags watching their ripped tents blowing away😬. But not the Roofbunk, we stayed completely dry and suffered no damage, couldn't believe it.
This tent is brilliant. The mattress is good enough on its own, but another airbed on top makes it bliss. Love the roof windows to be able to star gaze too. The awning over the ladder made a huge difference in the wet weather. It was easy to keep the wet gear out of the tent because of it.
Thoroughly enjoyable, easy to set up and close down. Feels really well built. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality, value and fantastic customer support, I purchased the additional awning to zip around bottom of the ladder extension and thermal liner, works faultlessly, easy to install and much more spacious than others I’ve seen, highly recommend this company and great to deal with.

We’ve used our RoofBunk many times across the UK and Europe, and we absolutely love it. The freedom of being on the road and being able to pull up anywhere and set up for the night is unbeatable.

The tent is simple and quick to set up or fold away – it only takes a few minutes. The mattress is surprisingly spacious and really comfortable, which makes a huge difference after a long day of travelling.

We’ve even used it in very blustery winds and it’s held up brilliantly. Overall, we’re truly impressed with the quality, design, and durability. The RoofBunk has made our road trips so much more enjoyable – highly recommend!

Just got back from a week in Cornwall with my RoofBunk Explorer. Fantastic, well-thought out tent. Very spacious and withstood winds of 50mph with the occasional 60mph wind gusts whilst also keeping me dry inside the tent! Customer service is brilliant also! Highly recommend RoofBunk to anyone looking for a roof tent
