This company is a total scam! They are based in China, not St. Ives in Cornwall, and the goods you receive will be of very poor quality. I see on the website they have a photograph of the "couple" who own the store. This is fake. But beware, they are also advertising the same clothes under different company names, do do not be fooled.
This company will make it as difficult as they can and come up with many excuses not to refund you, insisting you return their shoddy goods to China at a cost of £25+. They will try to wear you down.
Fortunately I persevered and received a refund through my credit card company when they raised a dispute, but it took several weeks.
Do not give up! Go to your credit card company for help and advice.

Don’t buy anything from this site!! What everyone is saying is true!!! Sent terrible quality jumpers back 3rd March at a charge to me of £8.00. Still waiting for refund which looks very doubtful. Now going to bank for refund as advised by some else on here. DON’T BUY ANYTHING!!!

My mum bought two dresses from this company for weddings she has this year, one being my brothers. The dress looked stunning online but what arrived was a nighmare. The dresses were a different material than described, one of the zippers did not have a zip and they were a lot shorter than the photos. Mum emailed the company. And was told they would refund her “£20 and she can keep and enjoy the dresses”, quite laughable really.

This company is located in China not St Ives bought two outfits £68 they arrived cheap and nasty went to send them back £30 to send back AVOID!

I bought 3 jumpers from St Ives Boutique site that all looked lovely and legit on their advert, they took an age to arrive, not 3-5days as advertised. 2 weeks later they arrived, looked nothing like the ones of ordered. Straight away I could see I'd been scammed these came from China! Poor quality no labels and 3 times larger than I'd ordered!
They would only give me a refund if I paid £48.00 which I refused to do to send them back!!
I URGE ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY THESE TO CONTACT YOURE BANK/CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND GET REFUNDED!! YOU HAVE 90 DAYS TO DO THIS IN!!

Item described as 'knitted' turned out to be made of a cheap nasty polyester type material. Paper thin and the print wasn't particularly sharp either. Despite being supposedly XL size the head hole was too small to get an adults head through and had no stretch in the material. Company would not give a refund or provide an address to return (its cheap tat from China nothing to do with St Ives).
In short they not only flout trading standards on advertising but also basic consumer rights legislation.

If I could give less than 1 star I would - shocking company! Not UK based as you are led to believe. Quality of dress that arrived was poor. Trying to return is a complete disaster / have been waiting over 5 weeks having posted dress back to China and tracked it - they now have it back and claim it’s been sent back to me! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY under an circumstances

Totally miss lead by them ,Bought a dress ,Came not even the same dress as Advertised, so cheap ,not the beautiful Dress, thought i was getting, Didn't fit me either, tried to send back ,Told had to send back to China, Wouldn't recommend at all ,such a shame

Even can’t give one star, they have a ridiculous refund policy. Items posted from china and nearly that amount that I paid for dress should pay for shipping back to china. I should check the review in advance . Not recommend to buy anything from this website. The quality of material and sewing method is rubbish.

A company posing as British quality to front a poor quality Chinese distributer. The poor quality unfinished clothes that arrived from china had either no care instructions or labels for other companies. I ordered 6 items, all very poor quality with faults. I received several AI generated responses to my request for a refund or returns label. They seem unfamiliar with UK consumer law where returns for faulty items are at the cost of the seller, they insisted I should pay to return to a China based warehouse, which resulted in me eventually having to request a chargeback through my credit card company, this was approved and then triggered a refund from them, which I assume impacts their banking scores and right to sell in the UK less. Avoid this company.

Really misleading advertising… not a UK company and not a quaint boutique from Cornwall as one may be lead to believe… all from China, not good quality and sizing incorrect for UK. Offer exchanges at cost of £12.95 or refunds if all postage paid to return to China. .. totally misleading

This is NOT a UK company. Quality of clothing is poor and the return process is really difficult and you are responsible for postage overseas. Avoid this company at all costs.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Whilst this website misleads people into thinking they are in the UK, especially when it says orders will be despatched within 3-5 business working days - they omit to tell you that means it is despatched from China and will take weeks to arrive and when it does, it is cheap crap and nothing like the picture. There is a returns UK address on the parcel - I wonder if this is some sort of customs scam, but if you want to return their rubbish you have to send it tracked back to China costing over £20. They offer you a 20% cashback rather than return - so its a win win for them. The people behind this company should be taken to task.

Please beware of this company. Glossy pictures but unfortunately the quality is cheap crap from China . Ordered a cream dress for a wedding . Not fit for a fancy dress party . I wish I could show you all . About a year ago I ordered from Flynn boutique. Sara it was then now it’s Sarah . Never got my money back . Went in to liquidation now it’s back as St Ives ?? Distribution centre Southall London yet you can’t return it there . I’ve been given a Chinese address to return to . Probably will cost a fortune 😩😩 I think a bombfire would be more fitting.
Please don’t waste your money on these clothes . . They will be in liquidation soon and then will come back as ??? Boutique . We need to stop them being advertised on Facebook and Social Media Sites . Keep the reviews going . Shut them down 😡

If could give 0 stars I would. IThis is Chinese masquerading as British. 10 weeks post my order goods are lost but refusing to refund me.

This company is from Asia and neither St Ives or the UK! The sizing is Asian therefore smaller than the size you think you are ordering. The material is substandard, very thin and creased. When you try to return you are sent a link to a return policy (which I could not find on the site prior to ordering) which states returns are to Asia at your cost!! The item is deftive, the website total misrepresentation and false advertising. DO NOT BUY!!

I would put zero if I could. This site is a total rip off. They sell as if they're a British trader but actually Chinese.
The dresses I received we're fit for the rubbish bin.
Like others say they make it impossible and too expensive to return so all they seem to be doing is making money from misleading customers. It's shocking that they're allowed to trade.
They are scamming honest customers.
I was offered to keep the dresses with 20% discount. What a joke, the quality is so poor they're not wearable.
Please don't buy from these people. They also have sister companies I've seen on social media so beware of those too.

On my wife’s behalf I bought some ladies’clothing from this business online.The business advertises itself as being UK based and there is no mention on the website of links to China.In fact,the clothing is made there which explains the very long delivery time.Even worse,there is no information about the returns policy.When I wanted to return my purchase I discovered that the returns warehouse is in China and that returns are at the cost of the customer.Who would bother?
Disgraceful trading practices ,bordering on dishonesty.

Like everyone else I purchased a dress as it looked lovely. It was cheap quality and nothing like the picture and it didn’t fit. Would have cost more to send it back as it came from China.
How are the able to sell in this way, absolutely disgusting. Lost my money
