Unfortunately my story is the same as everyone else’s!

Total scam - company pretending to be in UK (St Ives) but are based in China - goods are really shoddy, dreadful yarn, tiny very bad fit, and nothing like the pictures.
Need to return to China / I don’t think I’ll ever get my money back so I think they are heading for the bin. Feel really cross that I fell for this

Advertise on social media pretending that a St Ives store is closing down and stock must go etc. it’s just china made crap you can buy for less than half the price on Amazon. Do not buy from here. Do a reverse image search of the clothes and see for yourself. Returns policy is you pay to send it back to Asia, so that tells you everything you need to know.

Sadly, I have been conned in the same way as other customers. My delivery took over 3 weeks. I found out on tracking that it was coming from China. There is no shop in Cornwall, it is a well presented Chinese business!!! Ordered 2 size 16 jumpers; one was around a 10 the other an 18. When i tried to return the parcel it transpires that it will cost £25+ or more. I am looking at the 2015 Consumer Act as this all feel illegal.
DO NOT BUY their rubbish or fall for their PR.

If I could give zero stars I would - o fell for the sob story and ordered a cardigan and a jumper which are nothing like the pictures - the quality is terrible and the style isn’t even the same - i looked back on the we site to double check and the names of the clothing have changed also - I am not going to pay the return charge but will be more wary in future

The shop was making out it was closing down and I fell for it, thinking I was getting a jumper direct from the shop. No it wasn’t direct from St Ives, Cornwall but from China. What a con. I thought about returning it but at £20+ l don’t think I’ll bother. However, a letter to consumer watchdog will be next. Too many con websites.

Totally duped!! A Chinese company, again. I should have known better! The jumper arrived today, 3 weeks wait,
It'll do! Not recommended . It's a rip off ! No savings , no store closure imminent, no sale, they are over priced for what they are!

Oh dear... how gullible can sensible people be. My darling wife found these charlatans on line and between us we have spent a pretty penny.

Some of the stuff is lovely others are cheap tatty rubbish that I wouldn't even send to a charity shop. Not pigging about with sending back. Have emailed but will will be going to trading standards as they are rubbishing the beautiful county that is Cornwall.

Please stop buying... disappointment will only follow.

Rubbish quality .. I’ve been conned . Cheap And nasty . Labels state materials made of which are far from correct .. expensive buys .. a lot of money wasted .. not even sure if a charity shop would want them . Be warned stay clear !

I can’t believe I fell for this company, claiming to be a UK based business which unfortunately had to cease trading for various reasons. I placed an order for one jumper which has arrived today and is absolute crap. 10 minutes after placing my order I contacted them by email asking to cancel it and they replied straight away saying it was already dispatched. They are based in China not Cornwall as they lead you to believe and you have to pay up to £30 to return an item. I can’t return mine as not prepared to most postage even though it’s not as described. Please do not order from this company.

Avoid avoid avoid. Cheap nasty stuff. Lying that they were closing a shop in St Ives. All lies. Returning the garbage item is about £22 back to China.

why is the overall score 2.3 when everyone has given one star? It doesn't even deserve one star!

I can’t believe I fell for it! Haven’t received item yet but now know it isn’t as it says, a family run business in the UK I just hope the item is ok for £50 as it seems I won’t be sending back. Why are these companies not monitored 🤬

As others here have reviewed. This company is at worst a scam at best, fooling people into thinking it's UK based with it "St Ives" name. Returns need to go to China and you have to pay for it! WHAT !!!! Returns policy states:
"Please do note that I do not offer free returns. And Returns should be sent back directly to my fulfillment company in Asia."
They even got a spelling wrong.

Another scamming company. Goods are not as advertised, expensive for something that comes from Temu/Shein for a fraction of the price.

Absolutely disgusting, and as already has been said can't return easily. The stalling tactics are incredible. Can you take a video so we can see what is wrong with the item etc. I just don't like the item and I want a refund.

I ordered a long coat and long gilet ,not knowing which would suit me better… took a long time to arrive.
When they arrived the coat didn’t suit be so I emailed asking for return details. As yet I haven’t had the details but have had several emails trying to persuade me to exchange, on the pretext it’s better for the environment!!
Like the previous reviewer, I’m sure they are not a uk company…this sort of practice should be policed in some wat!

UPDATE
I have been told that the return is to china at my cost!! Nothing about returning to china in the original add!!!
BE AWARE this company are not what they claim!!!

This company is parading as UK based! I ordered goods over a month ago with a 3 to 5 day delivery. I feel very foolish now and have said goodbye to my money, a small amount fortunately. These goods were apparently being sent from China!!!!!
A lesson learned!!
Just to add, it is now April, I have received the goods, very poor quality, could not possibly wear them, cheap material, nothing like their photos.
Contacted to return to find out I have to pay for their return to China!!!
