Only gave one star as I couldn’t give none!

Like everyone else who has reviewed, terrible quality, basically they sell on a way that makes it impossible to return.

Very cross at myself as I’m normally good at checking reviews before ordering from an unknown website but I ordered on a whim and now regret it!

As many, I have discovered too late that the company imports the dress from Asia despite presenting itself as a UK-based company shipping locally. The fact that the dresses are imported is not the issue: the problem is that they look nothing like the products advertised (color, print, fabric and design).

If I could rate these con artist zero stars I would...
Overpriced shoddy items from China not from St Ives UK as advertised.
It appears they are running it from a unit in the UK.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM I'VE JUST LOST £100.00 WORTH OF RUBBISH.BE WARNED!!!

Yes I have been duped again and OMG I will never order from any small businesses. Yes they look like they are in sunny Cornwall, I checked their socials good reviews and likes. I order 2 items and what they sent me are NOT even what I ordered in style and of course I cannot send them back. Complete bloody scammers

As with others, I too was duped into believing this was a uk based company. The dress has now arrived and it is a cheap horrible material, and looks nothing like the dress on their website. I notice they are now going under other names too, be careful. Makes me not want to order online.

Alas, after reading (FALSE) reviews about this company I was duped into spending money on an item that wasn't even worth the 17 days to arrive.
ABSOLUTE RUBBISH there is no way the garment even resembles what was in the photos.

Horrendous. Claims to be from Cornwall. Returns to China! Cheap material. Do not buy. Very misleading. Absolute tat.

They say they are GB and only send to GB - wrong! They're in China.
They have excellent English and what looks to be proper T&C but it's all fluff and lies.
5-10 days delivery time is way off.
Once you have ordered there is no refund - after 10 days I asked for my money back as it hadn't arrived and I'd realised I'd been stupid to order - no you can't they said. Only once you've got it and then you can SEND back. (see other reviews to see what happens then!)
Inbetween time, lots of emails "encouraging" me to order something else.
Never again but at least it's only £29.95 - I had more in my basket but a little voice in my head told me to take the others out - so glad I did!

Chinese online store, pretending to be from St Ives Cornwall. Bought 2 items terrible quality, worse than Primark. If I wanted to return ii, it had to go to China, I took the measly discount instead as I expected my parcel not to get there, or an excuse they could use. Will donate these rags to charity! No tags on the clothes stating materials used or washing instructions. I guess they would disintegrate if put in a washing machine!

Terrible quality clothing unable to return as shipping costs too high. Same as everyone else that fell for this scam

This is a completely fraudulent company advertising as a beautiful St Ives business. They are actually from china, send poor quality goods and refuse refunds. I ordered a dress that is nothing like the pictures- cheap material that is transparent and not full flowing skirt as pictured

Advertising as a closing down sale in Cornwall - bought a couple of coats off them . Started getting worried as I could see it was being tracked from China . At this point I knew that I had been scammed and what I was going to get. I wasn’t wrong when it arrived three weeks later , it was utter rubbish . Nothing like the ones i had ordered , they have gone in the bin . I wouldn’t even take them to a charity shop !!!
Bombarded them with emails , was offered 20 % discount - which seems to be what everyone else have been offered . Refused !
I have had a full refund . Never will I buy off any of these websites again .

Should have checked reviews first. Very misleading advertising. Poor quality clothing from China. Costs more to return than the items cost. Don't buy!!!!

I have been caught out. Totally believed it was based in Cornwall.
Material awful and swamps me. It is a multi coloured coat but does not compare with the pictures at all.
Tried to return it, it has to go to China or accept a paltry 20% and keep the item. The return form makes no reference to any business at all.

Same experience as everyone else. I'm so cross with myself that I didn't read the reviews beforehand. Total scam and should be prosecuted.
Dreadful quality dress. Cheap thin polyester, will be giving it to the charity shop. Although that seems wrong too. Perhaps someone will buy for a fancy dress outfit and a charity can benefit from these crooks
Avoid this company at all costs

I need to clear up the very worrying bad reviews this company. I ordered then saw the reviews and went into panic mode. Every email i sent they responded within 24 hrs. I honestly feel they are a chinese company masquerading as 2 UK ladies closing down a shop BUT they kept in contact with me gave tracking numbers for Royal mail. It did take some time from tracking number to when RM recieved it (10 days) but the jacket did arrive well packed and in perfect condition. The quality was amazing i am so pleased just as described and certainly value for money. My only negative is that they feel they as a chinese company have to resort to sob stories to get our business when if up front i would understand i had to wait 14 days.

Please ignore and report this company.

I agree with other reviewers that I wish I checked before! The website says they are based in Cornwall uk but my order took over 2 weeks to arrive. The top I ordered was nothing like the picture and the size was massive. I asked to return it for a refund and they sent me a message to say I have to send it to china!! What a waste of £29!!

Ordered the Emily - Luxury Floral Dress
It fits well but is certainly not ‘Luxury’ by any stretch of the imagination. The fabric is cheap polyester, very thin and the dress is not very well put together with pieces of fabric sticking out of the stitching.
This company has no link with Saint Ives in Cornwall and certainly has no Cornish Vibes.
I shan’t bother with trying to return the item given that is at my own cost and is unlikely to result in a refund.
Definitely do not recommend this company at all.

This is most definitely a clever scam website based in China using a clever marketing ploy with photos of quality clothing based in Cornwall. It is nothing short of fraud. I am so angry with myself for falling for this rubbish, having bought two items that are shockingly bad, even though they were described as “couture and luxury” and I have contacted them to ask for my money back. I will be reporting them to Trading Standards and hopefully they can get involved.
