I ordered a piece of merchandise from SMK and was told when it would ship and how long it would take before receiving the merchandise. Everything I was told was accurate and delivered with no defects. Thank you SMK!!

Company was easy to work with and my order was shipped right away.

Everything was done on time and with perfect quality.
I highly recommend this supplier.

It took approximately 2 months to receive my order and no one responded to my emails!

Ordering process was good online. Although, never got shipping dates on my order while looking online. Took a month to receive. Called 2 weeks ago to cancel my order and get money back. No call back or money back. Now I have an item I can't use.

Item seems sturdy and price was great. That’s where the good bit ends. Item was in stock and website indicated shipment expected within 48 hours. I was never notified of any delay or problem. Contacted SMK one week after order and got no response, tried again fiver or six days later, THIRD attempt two weeks after order was finally answered with a response saying that my shipment would be “bumped up.” It shipped the following day and arrived as expected. Packed in badly damaged box with no packing material. Thankfully, it is sturdy, some deformation during shipping can be corrected. Bottom line: Buyer beware. Products and prices are good, but if you need it in a hurry/on time or want good communication about problems and delays, this may not be the store for you.

I ordered my dampers 4 months ago. They took my money quickly. Never heard from them after numerous times. Finally received my product.

This company will not respond to your emails or calls. They only charge your card and the next time you’ll hear from them will be about 1 month. I had to dispute my credit card charges because it seems like a rip off. I only heard from them a month after placing the order and disputed the charges. Stay away

I really like this company but I have to give an honest review. I ordered 2 ducting fittings for a swamp cooler install in the middle of June. They charged my card and had their money but my items did not ship until the first of September! I realize that we are living in a disastrous environment as far as the work force and supply chain goes… But, I had reached out to them three times via email through the “contact us” link and by phone and never received any response in regards to order status. In fact there has been zero communication about this order at all.

They had the best price I could find and the items seem to be good quality.

Free shipping gets you the cheapest box with everything piled in together. I didn't get a reply through their chatbot, customer service email, or their phone number. After a month, I threatened to cancel the charge on my credit card and finally got a reply, asking if I still wanted the items. Then they shipped out soon after that.

I would have been fine with the wait, if I had just been able to talk to someone and been told that it would take 6 weeks.

Tried and tried and tried some more to attempt to get in touch with anyone. I must have called and left messages over 30 times.
FINALLY a MONTH after my order was placed I was able to get a reply through one of my emails. My parts were then ordered and shipped out to me a week later.
This has to be the worst customer experience I've ever had with anything.
Will definitely NOT be giving them any business ever again.

Part was late. It took a week to get a response from customer support regarding shipping. Frustrating customer support. However, the craftsmanship & quality of the part was excellent.

We ordered duct pipe on 18 July 2022 order #12156 .I have tried to status several times nothing to date. No reply to web or no answers to phone calls. Please upgrade status you can call 919-542-4907. Our credit card has been charged

After 4- 5 weeks of waiting on a simple order and several calls & emails to their support dept, I have still not received my order. The shipper states they haven't even received the material to ship. Had to source somewhere else to try and get back on schedule with my project.

They had exactly what I needed & a lot less expensive than others. Quick shipping

If I could I would give them negative stars.
They claim to have a support staff, but they must not exist; I’ve written numerous messages and have called and left so many voicemails but only ever received a response to my first message, it stated -
“The Sheet Metal Kid said: I will be sure to let shipping know to get it out today. Thanks!”
Turned out that was a lie, because here we are two weeks later and I have no tracking # or conformation that the wye duct I ordered has shipped. Not to mention, it still says awaiting fulfillment on their website - I ordered it July 8th, it is now August 2nd. This is ridiculous and truly the worst business I have ever dealt with; they have such a lack of devotion to their customers, it’s appalling. I will never in my entire life purchase anything from Sheet Metal Kid again.
I 100% do NOT recommend this business.

Difficult to get initial status on order. Once the order was fulfilled: status was updated regularly and product received was of good quality and workmanship.

Quick delivery, order was right, and pieces were of good quality.

My parts were stuffed into a box too small and one part was bent up pretty bad. I was able to fix it and use the part so only 3 stars.
