The best photobook company I have used. Have 3 books now and all have been high quality with a very professional finish. I've never had any trouble using the software and find the offered layouts are ample for my needs. The software will tell you if your picture is of low quality giving you a chance to replace with an alternative. Of course, it's up to the user if they choose to ignore this advice. One of my books was created using photos taken on a very old camera so I did not expect great results. What a pleasant surprise! Chris and his team had somehow produced a book that far surpassed my expectations. I'm more than happy to wait the 14 days for my book to be created, as I feel this company takes a lot of care in its production process. I'd rather have that than a company who rushes production at the detriment of the product. I'm now in the process of creating 2 more photobooks with Chris and his great company.

Knowing that I planned a fairly complex and idiosyncratic photo album to mark my sister's 50th, I checked out the tools offered by a number of competitors and concluded that the ones offered by UPhotogifts were the most intuitive and flexible.

I must have spent nearly 4 weeks building the pages and, for the most part, was able to achieve what I wanted though I never got the hang of the bizarre cropping function and would have liked more photo adjustment tools. The ability to create my own backgrounds gave me a lot of visual flexibility tho this resulted in some perverse behaviour when adding images on top that required some slightly irritating work arounds

My biggest bug-bear was that the first page frequently 'lost' the background image. Uphotogifts were able to offer no explanation and no solution and so I found myself adding that background nearly 40 times! I suspect they have a database issue but dont' have ready access to technical specialists able to triage the problem and so will continue pretending it is unique to me.

Towards the end of my project, I also experienced the loss of 2 whole pages; ie they simply emptied of their images and text and though I frequently saved changes, the pages didn't revert when I signed out and signed back in. As a result, I had to rebuild those pages from scratch and from memory. Again, tho Uphotogifts went thru the motion of 'listening' to me and supposedly passing on the issue to their 'technical specialists', the fact that they never came back with a response suggests the issue just got filed away.

Customers are warned that orders can take 14 business days to be completed so I made sure I left plenty of time. However, with just one day to go, the status of the order did not change to 'despatched' until I drew this to the attention of Uphotogifts. My suspicion is that if I hadn't chased them, they would have exceeded their own deadline. Even then, the slip case (only black available!) arrived a day late which, strictly speaking, meant it took 15 business days for the order to be fulfilled. Sloppiness around delivery times is not a good idea when so many items are pinned to an anniversary of one sort or another.

Quality-wise, I would give the photo album 9.5/10. It was true to the layouts I had produced and essentially, what I saw on screen is what I got. I did notice on one page some white spotting which suggested that the pages had been assembled before the ink had fully dried but this was a relatively minor imperfection that I can easily live with.

Accompanying the book was a discount voucher offering "60% off all products". However, when I tried to use it to discount a second copy of the photo album I had produced, it didn't work. Which bit of "All Products" did I misunderstand?

So, all in all, a reasonable experience.

I've used uphotogifts to create 7 hard backed photo albums since 2014 and have been completely satisfied with all of them. The quality is excellent - the paper, the binding, the colour. Of course this does depend on the quality of the original image because I've used photos from various different mobiles and cameras. If its poor quality the software tells you. The online software was easy to access and use, to save and edit and posting was prompt. Will continue to use.

After reading a few mixed reviews I decided to give it a go for myself. After a few teething problems ie trying to download all my photos at the start instead of organising them into sections and doing a few pages at a time I found it really enjoyable to do. I also contacted Chris at photos for help which he quickly supplied. As a tip to a new starter I would suggest playing around first on a practice book and trying out all the function buttons then deleting it and starting the proper one. Saved it as i went along to avoid problems. Just received the finished book today and am really pleased with it. The finish is beatiful and the clarity of the printed text and photos is excellent. A great way to showcase a lot of photos from my trip to North India and much cheaper than printing individual photos which aren't so easy to show to people. I shall be starting my next one of South India photos now I know it's definitely worth the effort. Thanks to the iPhoto team.

I've bought from a number of photo book companies and this is the best - the quality of the printing far surpasses bonusphoto and other such companies - pages are much glossier and colours brighter.

I've found the software fine to use and I am no ICT expert. Off to find myself another voucher. This company is great value. I've had at least 8 books - I now opt for the 100 page ones as I enjoy creating them so much.

Dreadful. Amateurish inept and poor customer service. Website is dreadful and software for creating photbooks not trusted by Norton! I shall be seeking a refund from Travelzoo and returning my custom to bonusorint.

I have used this company on three occasions to create photo books. The first two books were excellent and competitively priced. However I have just received my third album and am very disappointed with the quality and colour. Having contacted the company I was advised that the company had changed print equipment and although I might notice a slight difference from previous books purchased from them, they don’t think I would be disappointed with their new books. I am disappointed and would not use their service again. They are continually offering special priced vouchers through Travelzoo. If you want to create a keepsake from a special occasion or holiday, do not use this company.

I have used this company over the past few years to create some wonderful memories of our holidays and family events. The books are produced very quickly and arrive in a professional way. This has allowed me to share my holiday experiences with my friends and will be a lasting memory that we can continue to look at. Their customer service is fantastic and if you have a voucher that is near running out you can pay to extend it. Thank you for becoming part of my life in a magical photo world.

I recently purchased an "Unlimited Voucher" through Travelzoo, and so far have received five of the six books ordered, and to be quite honest I have been impressed by the presentation and quality of the books... After reading quite a few of the negative comments I must say that in my experience with dealing with UPhotogifts, I have been completely Happy with their service and photobooks..

Bought a voucher from Travelzoo for a Uphotobook. Had to download their software onto my computer (rather than designing my book online), the layouts were awful, the backgrounds looked like clip art, the process of putting a book together was a nightmare, and the result (before printing) was horrendous. After three attempts I gave up and got my money refunded. I've successfully made photo books with two other companies, but didn't check this one out before ordering the voucher. Don't do your homework, you'll pay the price! Steer clear of this company!

Bought a voucher from Amazon deals for photobooks.

Their software is awful, limited layout styles, it auto resizes images strangly, limited backgrounds, max of 4 pics per page. No interesting layouts or collages. Deletes pictures randomly.

Eventually managed to order a book. Checked 8 days later and hasnt even been printed yet.

Read their small print all books take 10-14 days to be posted!!!!! Its clearly not going to arrive in time for Xmas!!

Have used other sites in the past without issue, better software, able to produce better/nicer books all dispatched within about 48 hours!
