Worst company ever
Worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
Things were terrible from the get-go with repeated missed collections, false promises never met, customer service is non-existent & never get back to you when promised. Our bins were left overflowing for weeks at a time. Then came the bills - charged for collections that never took place, charged excess weight penalties for collections that never took place! Employees lying about making collections when they didn’t - then later admitting they went to the wrong premises! Still billed for it!
We are now starting legal proceedings against Waste Managed for failure to provide contracted services repeatedly. We’ve been bribed with various compensations to stay, however we cannot get away from this company soon enough. It’s been relentless stress and time spent trying to resolve something as simple as getting a bin emptied on a regular basis. Stay clear.

Cancellation process felt deliberately prolonged
We have been a WasteManaged customer for several years, but our experience trying to cancel the contract has been extremely disappointing.
We first requested cancellation in July 2026, and WasteManaged later acknowledged that request. However, responses were repeatedly delayed and the process kept changing, while further charges continued to be raised.
In August 2026, we paid a lot against a pro forma invoice specifically showing a termination fee and container uplift fee. We then also settled the remaining outstanding invoice in full.
Despite this, WasteManaged continued to keep the account active and attempted to start a new 30-day cancellation period from September.
They have also failed to properly separate the cancellation of the contract from the recovery of an outstanding balance. Their own contract deals with arrears and termination under separate provisions, and we could not find any term stating that an outstanding invoice resets or invalidates an existing cancellation request.
At one stage we were told that the cancellation process starts when the applicable termination fees are paid, despite those termination fees having already been paid in August.
The whole process has felt like the goalposts kept moving, making a straightforward cancellation unnecessarily difficult and allowing further invoices to continue being generated.
I have now reported the matter to Trading Standards and will continue to pursue the appropriate formal channels. We have paid everything requested and I will not accept our business being disadvantaged by continued delays or attempts to prolong a contract we have already taken clear steps to terminate.
For a long-standing customer, this has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience.

Poor Customer Service After Sign Up
After receiving an email stating the date the drop off would be, we waited until 9pm that evening. Then the next morning I then received a text BEFORE 9am stating they were there to drop my bins off and if i open at 9am as im not there!!! I was not given any options other than being told bluntly that waste management are a broker and they have no say in the drivers collection/delivery dates. Unfortunately, i was not impressed with the wait til 9pm the night before then these text messages the next day, emailed waste management regarding this, had no response, but then an email asking for this feedback.

Zero stars - if I could of left zero
The worst company I have ever dealt with first talk you into staying saying will make service cheaper have you sign, only for a couple of months to put price back up / I have ceased trading sent proof that accountant had sent to companies house still wanted me to pay for the service fortune to end contract paid it and still demanding money for a bin collection that I didn’t need, multiple phone calls daily harassing you, please avoid and go with another service provider

Edit Add on- The Heat Suite Tanning Salon, Romford. This Review wasnt for a discussion with yourselves im leaving as soon as i can without you imposing the extortionate exit fees, you also dont inform your customers of, my review was to warn other businesses to stay away! As all your other reviews reflect your a disgrace of a company.
DO NOT USE!!! Con you into signing a 24 month contract they dont tell you on phone and keep putting prices up! I pay £91 for my small bin to be collected twice a month! About 8 bags!! They make it very difficult to leave with all their conditions but ill be leaving in a few months cant wait!!! Change your name as many times as you want your still a disgusting company scamming small businesses.

Really struggling with this company
Really struggling with this company, collections have been missed on and off since we moved to them. Now 3 weeks with no collection. Call centre has 30min plus hold times, just to be told 48 hours and then 48 again the next day and someone may possibly then come do an emergency collection, bit then they may need another 24hrs to do another emergency collection.
Cancellation process feels purposefully obstructive and difficult with different staff members giving different time schedules of when the request to not renew the contract can be made.
Will be ringing the Cancellations team and Monday to try get some more clarity.
Hopefully they will pull through as they have mixed reviews on here, and get the collections sorted. I've also found them on the more expensive side when shopping around for a replacement.
Edit: just to add if you google cheaperwaste you'll see they really have less than a 2* average before the name change.
