Beware of the insurance. The hire car company said I would be liable for the £700 excess and I would have to try and get it back from planet rental. Also no cover for breakdown puncture. Even though I had paid for the insurance. Probably better to pay the hire car people not planet rental.

Extremely disappointing experience – £400 extra cost due to information not being disclosed

I would strongly recommend thinking twice before booking through this company.

We booked a car through them with Sixt, only to discover afterwards that we were expected to have €2,900 available in our account. This requirement was not clearly communicated to us at the time of booking.

As a direct result, we ended up paying around €400 more than expected. What is particularly frustrating is that, despite Sixt being their partner, we have repeatedly been passed around rather than having the issue properly resolved.

This has now been going on for weeks, with no satisfactory resolution and an enormous amount of time wasted trying to get someone to take responsibility.

If an additional financial requirement is necessary to complete a booking, it should be made completely clear to the customer before they commit and pay. Customers should not be left to discover important requirements after the fact and then be expected to absorb the additional cost.

I have formally requested that the matter is escalated to senior management. At this point, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and customer service.

My experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I would not use this company again.

Do not use these crooks.
Paid and had a faulty car compromising the safety of a child. Wouldn’t refund. STAY AWAY

Unkompliziert und freundlich

Bis auf der Zustand des Fahrzeugs von außen alles super 👍 gefahren ist er dennoch gut.

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, es wurde mir keine andere Versicherung angeboten, guter Service, Das Auto war sehr sauber.
Kann es zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Sehr nette Kollegin die äusserst bemüht war.

Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Die Abholung in Porto war etwas umständlich da man sich erst vor dem Flughafen zum Shutttlebus durchfragen muss, der einen dann zum Parkplatz des Anbieters bringt. Die Übernahme war unkompliziert und das Auto sehr gut. Die Rückgabe in Faro war dagegen super einfach und empfehlenswert.

Zügige, Problemlose Abwicklung. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Alles super. Wie beim letzten Mal. Hier miete ich gerne wieder einen Mietwagen an.

Paid £205 for a hire car, got there 6 hours later to be told no cars available and sorry nobody had contacted me!!! 9 days on and still NO refund! Absolutely disgraceful

Die Abholung ging schnell. Es wurden natürlich zusätzliche Versicherungen angeboten, die wir ablehnten, da wir alles bereits online gebucht hatten.
Die Rückgabe erfolgte super schnell und unkompliziert. Mit dem Shuttle konnten wir auf dem Hin- sowie Rückweg zügig zur Station bzw. Flughafen gelangen.
Die Kaution wurde direkt am nächsten Tag wieder freigegeben.

Perfekter Service, keinerlei Wartezeit. Dokumente alle in elektronischer Form.
Lediglich das Namensschild für den Vermieter Target könnte sichtbarer angebracht werden.
Klasse Preis mit super Service, sehr zu empfehlen.
