Great product but poor delivery - sent to wrong addess

Great customer service. One of new radiators broke and they were helpful on the phone and sent a replacement very quickly.

When investing in any product, there are, really, only two primary concerns:

1: Is the product of sufficient quality to justify its price with quality of service and longevity? And…

2: Am I purchasing off a retailer that backs its promise to its customers and delivers an outstanding experience?

The latter is increasingly hard to come by - yet you'll find it in abundance at Best Electric Radiators.

A couple of years ago I purchased a couple of wall mounted, wi-fi enabled heaters for my office. The idea, obviously, was to have the ability to turn the heaters on and off remotely so I arrive to a warm environment.

Delivery was prompt, and the post sales service - in terms of getting the heaters up and running - was excellent.

James and his team patiently walked me through the process of installing the access point in the router, and the not always intuitive installation process on the app.

Needless to say, I was a happy punter. However, the real measure of an excellent business that genuinely values its customers is what happens when they're called upon long after the sales process.

Over two years had passed since purchasing the heaters when we had a power outage. For reasons I can't explain, this particular outage affected the access point's ability to connect through the app to the heaters.

I'd forgotten how to connect it all, and, after spending the best part of 30 mins trying to solve the issue myself, and getting grumpier by the minute as a consequence, I called Best Electric Radiators.

Once again, James not only patiently took me through each step, he did so in a manner clearly demonstrating he was only too delighted to do so.

I was so impressed I asked James for his boss's name, so I could write to share just how impressed I was…only to find James is the boss.

Good or bad, the culture of any business is a determined by those at the top - and that's why Best Electric Radiators are exceptional.

1200W has slight damage to edge of control panel, which makes switching on/off manually a little bit temperamental

Purchased one a few years and been impressed with its performance in conservatory didn’t hesitate when need one for downstairs room . Good controls and easy to set up

Bought a 2000w Slimline Curve Wifi Electric Radiator in October 2020 for £499 - very expensive for a heater. My room size is just under 20 square metres. However, it's broken in just over 4 years. This is because I have been setting the thermostat at 27 degrees as otherwise the room takes about 4 hours to heat up to 21 degrees because the thermostat is on the radiator so the radiator cuts out well before the room is up to temperature. Therefore it's not fit for purpose in my opinion.

I was advised not to ever set the temperature higher than 22. Only buy this if you are ok with a room taking hours to heat and not being able to go higher than 22. I've now bought a £62 oil filled radiator that easily heats the room quickly and can go above 22 if I want.

Plus I have safety concerns about the radiator as when I opened the casing (BE adviced to bypass the switch, which I also have concerns about as this may invalidate the CE certification), the plastic insulation was blackened and one of the wires had a burn mark. Was advised by an electrician and firefighter that this is a fire hazard. Best Electric want to charge me £75 to fix/check it, which is more then the new heater I bought. So I still believe that this product is a fire hazard. Avoid!!

I bought a set of anthracite slimline curve Wi-Fi enabled electric radiators from Best Electric. They are one of the slimmest, if not the slimmest in the market and look really elegant and cool hung on our walls in our new barn conversion. I had a few issues in setting up Wi-Fi connectivity to the app, but after a call with James from Best Electric, who was really excellent and so helpful, I am now up and running!! The app is super intuitive and easy to use and I can now control the radiators remotely and away from home. Thank you Best Electric, I wouldn’t have any qualms in buying from you again!

The speed of delivery and communications from the company were very good.
I ordered a radiator which the 2meter flex so I could position my rad where I needed it. The company called me and advised that the radiator had been updated with a fixed 1.4 meter flex and was this sufficient. What I didn't ask was which side the cable was located, which I should have done, my fault. The upshot was, my socket was on the left hand side of the rad meaning I couldn't place it exactly where I needed it, due to the fitted cable being on the RH side. Something to check if you are placing a radiator in a specific location.

I have marked my score down to a 4 for two reasons.
1. The fitted 3 pin plug arrived with all the pins bent out of shape!
2. The LH mounting bracket on the rad was bent down.
I managed to correct both of these with a sturdy pair of pliers. Note. If the mounting bracket is bent, bend it back to shape slowly as the metal is quite soft and could break if not careful.

I had previously submitted a five star experience of purchasing and having help setting up my WiFi enabled electric radiators. My current review is with regard to problem I have encountered with the same rads stopping working. I had to remove an electrical part to overdue a system so it would restart - James claimed it was a user fault and as it was in a holiday let I scolded the user! When the same fault occurred in the same rad I have in my home I realised it is not a user fault but a flaw in the radiators and James was no where to be seen. My messages were ignored and I had to use the same override trick (not great messing with electrical goods & going against the manufacturer’s set up). I am still left with no solution 4 months later. V disappointing

Ordered radiator on Saturday and this was delivered on Tuesday.Free delivery which wad a bonus.Came with wall fixings which was quick and easy to do.Working brilliantly and keeping kitchen cosy and warm.Very happy with purchase 😊

Received heater swiftly and was easy to fit but usb not included.
I have contacted best electric radiators but they are sure it was in the box. They want another £60 to send one. Seems a little steep as I cannot see it was supplied and cannot prove otherwise.
