I decided to conduct a Statutory Lease extension with Brady’s Solicitors after reading lots of amazing reviews online. I have to say, I too have been so pleased with their service! My solicitor Lizzie Kendrew was calm, knowledgeable, super efficient and most importantly kept me in the loop at all times. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she dealt with some tricky situations brilliantly. Lizzie pushed through my lease extension under the time limit first determined which enabled us to get our flat on the market sooner than expected. Once the lease was completed we were handed over to Marilla for registration, and she too was fantastic. Everything was registered in a timely fashion and again I was updated throughout. Thank you both for helping me get the result I needed and wanted!
Brilliant experience with my lease extension recently. Lizzie took great care of my case. She was always professional and provided a consistently high level of service. They were quick to respond to any queries. Transparent with quotes and very helpful overall. The whole process was done remotely through email and post which was extremely convenient. Their services can be used anywhere and by far the best solicitor I have used. Highly recommend.

For starters one star is not low enough it needs to be -10
If you are a client of this company you appear to get a five star review but if you have the misfortune of being on the receiving side of the company you get a totally different experience
My experience with solicitor I have been dealing with only knows the words my fees are and I’ll take you to court your the defendant
She lied to my mortgage company on the actual charges I owed to EWS said she sent emails to where only she knows never tried to contact me and when I did have the misfortune of talking to her she was abrupt rude and intimidating.
Please if you deal with this company be aware of your rights complain about bad service if that’s what you call it
I am not one to reviews but this company needs to be investigated over its behaviour towards people

Please email me with your experience at Bradys at ahern.life if any of the following are true:
- reckless disregard for establishing the facts and basis for claim,
- claim made in spite of attempts to contact them and resolve without legal process,
- pre-emptively informed lenders,
- they have ignored Pre-Action Protocols and requests for alternative dispute resolution.

Do not use, deserve to struck off due to their reckless lack of compliance with the pre-action protocols. Phoned them today and told that one of the owners, who is meant to be handling my complaint, will not correspond by phone call. Nor do they correspond by email so it seems.
Update 27/03: I got a reply after 22 days, 8 chaser emails and several phone messages left at the office!! Copy of their reply below, although I have taken any names out, the rest is unchanged.
They still have not complied with the Pre-Action Protocols, but urging them to comply with the law. Will update if any progress is made!

I note your multiple email chasers and calls to the office.
As I outlined in the email of 27/02/24 you are not entitled to a complaints procedure as you are not a client. All communications needs to be directly through the case handler XXXX XXXX
We are instructed by the RTM Co to recover service charges and legal fees due through the mechanism of the lease not to advise you. We recommend you instruct independent legal advisors for that purpose.
To be clear in terms of further communication emails will not be responded to and no calls will be connected to me.
I also note your inaccurate and untruthful recent reviews on google and trust pilot
To address these mistruths I will respond further on the ADR point alone even though compliance to CPR Rules was confirmed in the email of 27/02/24
Brady Solicitors are under no obligation to “follow an ADR step” as you outline. We have sent an LBA and will go to claim and then judgement if the breach of covenant is not corrected – ie you pay the arrears and the consequent legal fees
In terms of CPR (Civil Procedure Rules) there is no obligation to participate in ADR but parties will be offered the opportunity to do so by the Court, this does not however occur until the point the case is defended. The Court may appoint a mediator. This does not change the nature of the claim and or judgement and our client is entitled to decide whether or not to engage in this process. In terms of any Pre Action Protocol this a breach of a lease covenant that leads to potential possession proceedings, not a contractual debt claim in its usual form. It is an action for monies held on trust. Pre-action Protocols provided within the Civil Procedure Rules do not therefore apply. In any case there is no requirement for ADR at this stage.
In terms of RICS regulations and any obligation to consider ADR that is not something we can comment on as is a question for the Managing Agent and or RICS but we note that costs of ADR can be high and will be payable by the parties involved. Such costs are likely to equate to a significant proportion of the sums in dispute.
I would strongly suggest you reconsider and edit or remove your reviews in light of that comment given there is no breach of pre action obligations and your initial “complaint” was answered and you were told communication needs to be directly with the case handler. In addition can I remind you of your obligations to ensure no reviews are defamatory or amount to malicious falsehood.
I also note your threat to report Brady Solicitors to the SRA. We are regulated by this body and all of our work and the practice itself is governed strictly by Standards, Regulations and Principles which the Authority imposes. The work we have done on this matter has not breached those Standards and Regulations or those of the Civil Procedure Rules or the Pre Action Protocol. Recourse to the SRA is only for issues of professional misconduct by firms or solicitors. The details of your communications do not meet this criteria.

I called and gave details of a case to discuss with a solicitor. Solicitor called when I was busy and stated will call back. Have waited for days and keep getting in touch only to be told they will call back each time. Still waiting - Awful service

We found them efficient, responsive and effective. Emails and calls were timely, their advice was practical and useful
First of all the are most unprofessional team I have met . They were hired by my building management and have zero interest in public or people except money which is like most of solicitors I know . They did not have courage to send notice to the person involved sent it to weird address which were given to them by my abuser . Nothing was communicated to me and after asking them questions they have no answers .
In short they claim money from people behind their back by using some legal terms . If they would have contacted me or made effort to contact me they wouldn’t have had penny for their so called service( not sure what service ) Can you believe their worth and charges are more than doctors ( not sure for what )
If you fancy getting abused by them financially please hire them . They abuse people of different colour more than anyone can even think .
Being a doctor I am glad they do not work in my field not sure how many people they would financially abuse without even doing basic job called communication. I suggest they do course for communication skills . Fighting at this stage is waste of my time . I would choose my battles have just received freedoms from one abuser and it took me 2 years to deal with one . Won’t waste time on these people . Hope they enjoy with the money received and call it their service

Brady Solicitors were great from the start. Communications were 100%. Lizzie Kendrew was extremely patient in answering my many questions about my lease extension. I can't rate her highly enough. She was wonderful. My case wasn't easy, but Lizzie took me through the process very swiftly and professionally, ensuring that I was ok with everything along the way before proceeding to the next step. I was initially reluctant to go with a solicitor without meeting face to face locally, but I needn't have concerned myself. In fact they were better than a couple of local solicitors I've used in Putney previously. Price was reasonable too. All in all a great experience. Well done!
Very uninterested, unprofessional, you will wait for ages to get a call from them. Everytime you have to narrate your story,wait days until you give up.then they tell you to go somewhere else.
