I have Fern as my account manager (Although I deal with others from time to time) and I can honestly say she is like a breath of fresh air when it comes to dealing with. Does what she says she's going to do, when she says shes going to do it and nothing is too much trouble.

Would recommend her, and this company strongly.

I have been dealing with Niamh Aspinall lately and she has been so responsive and keeping me in the loop of any changes.

Before Niamh I had multiple people to deal with and didn't know of any changes I had to chase for these.

7 missed collections in 4 weeks — genuinely impressive at this point.

We have been contracted with City & Suburban Waste Services for only four weeks, and they have already managed to miss 7 collections and counting. Almost every time, this is followed by the usual apology and another promise that it will be sorted.

One particular “attempted collection” was so ridiculous I genuinely had to laugh. The driver apparently did not even bother getting out of the vehicle. Instead, a photo was taken while the vehicle was moving, with the driver’s reflection visible in the window, and the collection was marked as attempted because another van that was also moving was supposedly blocking access to the bins. 😂

Apparently, getting out of the vehicle and walking a two metres was simply too ambitious.

And here we are again: overflowing bins because yet another collection has not been completed. The attached photo shows the result this time don’t don’t make up an excuse I guess they are to tired of faking an excuses too.

For a business paying for a scheduled commercial waste service, 7 missed collections within the first 4 weeks is completely unacceptable. At this stage, I spend more time chasing collections and receiving apologies than they appear to spend actually collecting the waste.

I didn’t sign a waste collection contract because I wanted a new administrative hobby. I signed it because I wanted the waste collected.

If reliability is what you are looking for, my experience so far speaks for itself.

Overall, the service has worked well for us during the contract. However, the service has been poor in recent months, with several issues with the providers. This led us to cancel our contract. We have had to chase Business Waste almost every time, and they have often failed to deliver. Management acknowledges their error and has credited us for services we did not receive, as well as providing a small goodwill gesture.

Lewis helped me solve a problem that I couldn't find an answer to. He was very patient and gave me a very clear explanation of the answer. Everything is clear to me now.

My experience was great due to Olivia. The whole process was very long and winded but she made it feel really smooth and was constantly providing me with updates. I have never come across someone so consistent and friendly.

I changed my waste collection service to Business Waste a couple of years ago due to their prices being very competitive. Over the last few months prices started to increase so I contacted BW and spoke to Kery’s about these increases and my queries where dealt with efficiently and a decrease in cost was implemented within a couple of days. Business waste are a good waste removal company to deal with in the main. While the proactive communications around changes in policy and changes in collection dates could be improved, generally their reactive communication is fantastic.

We had a problem last week wherein the collection dates of our recycling bins had changed and we were not aware, so our bins were not collected. We are a student accommodation, going through the Check Out/Check In period, so this happening is essentially our worst nightmare.

I called the contact number, got through immediately to a member of the team called Lily, and not an AI helpdesk (which is becoming more and more rare and so was extremely appreciated). Lily was really helpful in fixing this issue.

She spoke with the depot, organised another collection for us within the timeframe I needed, set my expectations accordingly as to upcoming collection times, verified the contact information on file, assured me of the correct collection dates, and checked in with me on the next working day to make sure it had gone well, and to see if I needed anything else.

As a customer of a waste disposal company, I don't often feel especially valued - the relationship has historically been exclusively transactional. Lily made me feel as though myself and the company I work for are valued. I can't really give any higher paise than that.

I've also had excellent customer service from Molly in the past, who has been really helpful with quotation queries.

Approached Liam for a quote for our Company waste. Very fast and friendly response back. We sent through so many questions to ensure we were compliant and he answered them all thoroughly and in an easy to understand way. We felt we could ask him questions as he is so approachable. Very impressed with the level of customer service given to us. We felt valued.

My enquiry was dealt with quickly and efficiently and the collection made very quickly. The customer interaction I received from Aleks was exceptional

I've been a customer of business waste for just over 2 years as they were recommended to me for sharps collection. Although the customer service provided by the head office is generally good, the organisation of the actual sharps exchange has always been inefficient, lots of miscommunication about dates/times/size of box etc. I did try to leave once before so they switched the local service provider but it didnt make a difference. The final collection this time has dragged on for 7 weeks, again due to the contractor turning up on my days off as well as lots of frustrating forwards and backwards about the size of the bin, asking me to send photographs of it etc - I was contracted for a particular service, so surely they should know what i've got! I'm very relieved to have finally left this company, the price is not really competitive and what I actually need is efficient service at the point of exchange. Not recommended.

Business Waste take care of our business waste with a great service; they offer competitive pricing and good customer service. Evie dealt with our needs very helpfully and was always checking up on our bin delivery to ensure that everything went smoothly.

We recently dealt with Adam from Business Waste and honestly couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

Adam was extremely helpful from start to finish and managed to save us money in areas we didn’t even realise were possible. He also helped us sort out our general cleaning contract, which had been causing us ongoing issues and was something we didn’t think could be resolved from outside the business.

Adam absolutely knows his stuff, but what really stood out was how friendly, approachable and easy to deal with he was. He took the time to understand our needs and genuinely went above and beyond to help.

We’re really pleased with the service we received and would highly recommend Adam and Business Waste to any business looking to save money and get their waste and service contracts working more efficiently.
