Great product, great service, bit of a long wait - this was because it was a special offer and we were advised up front but 8 weeks for new oven is kind of a long time.

Cooks seem to be the only dealer in England with stocks of the most sought after Miele dishwashers. Apparently they had the foresight to fill their warehouse just before the first lockdown.

Great product from an excellent company.

Purchased new Miele Dishwasher from Cooks and Company to replace existing unit where the pump decided to give up the ghost. Searched for options and availability on a new Miele G7100SC in clean steel. Cooks and Company had stock (many others did not due to supply issues) and at a good price. Placed order and took delivery 3 days later. Arranged for old unit to be taken away. I fitted the new dishwasher myself. Delivery team used were polite and efficient. I was given a wider than ideal delivery window but the delivery team did call in advance to let me know when they would be arriving and they did arrive as expected. All in all a very good purchasing and delivery experience.

I had been trying to buy a washing machine - tried the manufacturer, and ordered 'successfully' online, but the order was cancelled and refunded as not in stock. I tried searching for the model again, and was delighted to be able (on the face of it) to order from this small supplier. I emailed them (after hours) to ask if the machine was actually in stock, they said yes and to order on the website. I placed the order the same evening, by which time their website had been updated to Black Friday deals - great, I thought, money off.

I placed the order successfully and booked a delivery date, only to be called the following day with a seemingly convoluted explanation but the bottom line was, I either had to pay full price to (maybe) get my hands on the one they had in stock, or wait until their Black Friday stock was in, which might not be until January. I cancelled the order, because I have a very strict policy of not being 'messed around' by suppliers.

I have only given three stars because, while I appreciate that they won't want to give a discount on stock for which they had to pay full trade price, their website had allowed me to pay and book a delivery slot, only then to be told that they would not honour delivery on that day at the price I paid. Furthermore, after that telephone conversation, I emailed them to express my regret at how things had gone, and have not received a reply.

I have given three stars rather than fewer because a) they replied to my original query quickly, b) they refunded my purchase immediately and without question, and c) I do believe that this was an issue of bad timing, albeit one that I think could have been handled much better.

Phone queries promptly and clearly answered. Delivery men courteous and efficient.

Took the time with patience, to help me make the right purchase. Answered all my questions and was happy for me to go through the process of comparing a number different ovens. And had a wide range of ovens in stock. Iain was attentive, courteous and professional throughout and I never felt pressured during the sales process.
