I give 5 star for the speedy delivery and quality of equipment sent. The reason I have given 4 stars is because, when the engineer came to fit it, I realised that I had ordered the wrong size. I contacted the company on the telephone number provided and explained my situation. I was informed that I would need to contact the company by Email, also that there was a time limit. I much prefer to speak with someone than do it digitally.

I ordered an electric fire from Fires 2U on 27/08/2026 knowing that the fire was not currently in stock. Delivery was offered on 10/09 but I chose 15/09 instead. Unfortunately, an incorrect fascia had been packed by British Fires. I contacted Fires2U by email on 19/09 and a replacement was received on 23/09. Throughout the process, Fires 2U were very approachable, helpful and efficient, and I was extremely pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend Fires 2 U for their excellent customer service.

While not totally the fault of fires 2u the saying there's no sentiment in business then this company certainly falls into that category when an 85yo woman who recently lost her husband a few months prior asked the gas engineer to order her a new fire unfortunately due to the flue positioning being different to the fire
it rendered it no use.
Now while the supplier was happy to do an exchange for an alternative fire any exchange had to be done through Fires 2U bear in mind she was taking an electric fire at half the price and willing to pay transportation costs and again because it fell outside the 14 day remit unfortunately Fires 2U wouldn't change there stance on the exchange I have personally buy the fire myself as I couldn't see the lady freeze through the winter pending I certainly won't be purchasing through this company as couldn't guarantee any future after sales might be met with the same outcome should anything go wrong again I'm not attaching full blame at there feet and probably fell at the feet of the engineer but I think they could have done more for this lady I did find they were quite dismissive on the phone!

That is correct I'm not the purchaser but represent the lady as being 85 doesn't know how to do the reviews but having took her case on as the engineer had no time to do it but I've experienced enough even yesterday when I called you and you put the phone down on me so if you had of read my review it doesn't really attach any blame to anyone as you are accusing the lady asked the engineer based on the dementions he ordered for her it arrived 3 weeks after about another month the engineer went to fit it the fire was basically the wrong one due to flue issues having first contacted you I was wrong in my approach but at the time was unaware it was outside the 14 day period but having approached your supplier they were reluctant but agreed to exchange the fire but any exchange you had to do as I'm aware at no cost to you! Now any reputable firm would have done this especially for a pensioner I'm sure.
My review is based on my experience representing the lady and not a purchase no blame it attached to Fires 2U or the supplier it required a goodwill gesture which Fires 2U are not entitled to do but the supplier was the review says at the beginning and at the end so therefore keep an open mind when buying from them.

Bought a Verine fire from Fires2u in 2023 and still love it. It has a remote control which I broke but I couldn't find a replacement on the Fires2u website. When I emailed to ask how to get a new one they responded swiftly and effectively, and it's now on its way. Would happily shop here again.

Had a gas fire delivered , goid coms on delivery and came on time. On opening gas fire ee foind the frame was bent .. Informed Fires2U and a new frame was delivered next day no qualms no hassle. Great people to deal with.

The product (Dru Evolve 130) was sold at a very competitive price and the sales teams arranged delivery with the supplier which arrived on time. With a couple of minor issues (supplier issues not Fires2u), Kieran provided an excellent service with email responses on the same day (often within the same hour). Prior to ordering Elgin & Hall Verdena Marble Fireplace and Purefglow Juliet Illusion Electric Fire, I contacted Kieran @ Fires2U, as I was unsure of what to order, he was extremely helpful and I felt confident when ordering. He also double checked my requirements after receiving my order. On receipt and after fitting, we could not be more happy. It's perfect, better than we imagined. I ordered in October and it was received on time, sorry for the tardy review

British Fire New Forest Black Edition.Fires 2U, Excellent service, delivery service excellent , fire well packed. Really pleased with the quality and look with the real logs and natural fire pit. Very realistic. Big Well done to British Fires also.

Good company to buy a replacement fire from, would recommend. I ordered an Elgin & Hall Chollerton, delivery was good and impressed with new fire.

The response I have received from Fires2u regarding my complaint is truly shocking . They said I had exceptional service , this is simply not true . Staff are rude , unhelpful and clearly do not read the communications their customer service team send out . I can assure anyone thinking about using this company , they will not take responsibility for their poor service . Please think twice about buying a fireplace as it will be dumped outside your house , you won't be able to lift it , and you will have to fight to get a full refund. Their website does not highlight the weight of their products . If you are an older customer please ensure you look for a company that delivers to your door . Three relatively healthy men could not lift the fireplace I had ordered .

I bought the Coniston Limestone fire surround, communication was great regarding questions and it arrived expertly crated on a pallet about two weeks later. I was phoned regarding delivery and kept informed as to progress. The fire surround is top quality limestone, pre-finished and already fitted with wall brackets for safety. It's extremely heavy and manoeuvering the pieces into place took two strong men. Construction was straight forward using Vitcas heat resistant tile adhesive/mortar/grout and the finished surround looks magnificent. In conclusion Fires2u had the best price on the internet and their service was excellent.

Unfortunately the company can't deliver to Ireland, but redirection to a UK address delivered promptly in spite of earlier notification of four weeks delivery time. Also follow up re missing component (from manufacturer) dealt with expeditiously and courteously. Communications were with Kieran.
