Gorgeous well designed kettle
The kettle looks fantastic and has an easy top up section on the so you don’t have to remove lid to add water.

The online service was great and the…
The online service was great and the chair is beautiful. The only issue I had was with the way the delivery men, two of them, rang the bell and left the chair in the communal area downstairs without even saying they are not bringing it up. I waited upstairs near my flat and no one came up which is very unusual as every delivery person has always delivered items by coming up the stairs, even the heaviest of items, which is extremely courteous and encourages me to use the same services again and again. The behaviour of the delivery guys that delivered the chair has somewhat discouraged me from using the company.

UK customs issues affecting delivery
I ordered garden furniture and a dining table ages ago. Was supposed to be here on the 2nd of June. It is now more than 2 weeks late but finally they took responsibility and at least refunded the delivery cost. My suggestion to all people who reside in the UK would be to make sure there is no direct customs clearance involved for your items. If a shop imports it, there is no problem but when a company from Europe imports it, this may happen so be careful.

A catalogue of errors
Ordered two things - expensive garden furniture was a total pain to arrange delivery for - multiple emails, chat messages and eventually a phone call to get it sorted. Seat cushion that was ordered as part of this delivery was wrong one for set. No one picked this up during ordering process and return process was expensive and convoluted. Expecting all original packaging to be intact is a bit ridiculous - how can I open a package without opening it?! Then ordered a mirror. Arrived smashed…. Once again a lengthy process to arrange for a new one to be sent - by which point date I needed this for had passed. Courier used did not follow instructions on where to leave parcel.

The delay in arranging delivery for your garden furniture was indeed due to an issue with the courier, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. As a gesture of goodwill, our customer service team sent you a gift card, and the issue was escalated to the transport provider to help avoid such situations in the future.
Regarding the seat cushion — we understand your disappointment. The incorrect item appears to have been ordered, which is why the original packaging was requested for the return. This policy helps ensure that returned products can be resold as new. That said, we made an exception and accepted the return, and your refund was processed promptly.
As for the mirror, we’re truly sorry it arrived damaged. Once your claim was received, a replacement was arranged quickly, although we understand it did not arrive in time for your intended use. We’ve also followed up with the courier to address the failed delivery instructions.
We appreciate your feedback, and we’ll use it to improve our processes. If there’s anything further we can do, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

This company claim they have a phone…
This company claim they have a phone number and dedicated customer support on their website. My order is late and I have had no update on where it is or when I should expect delivery. When I tried to call multiple times throughout the day (during their working hours on a Monday) there is no one there to answer but an automated voice that says to leave an email. No one is responding to my email. Very misleading and I am now left worried and frustrated. Possibly this is a scam. Would definitely not recommend.

Our customer service team is indeed available by phone and email during working hours, but it's possible you called at a time when all our advisors were already assisting other customers. We apologise if you were unable to get through and didn’t receive a prompt reply by email, we're actively working on improving our response times.
As for your order: our standard delivery time is 5 to 7 working days. Your order was dispatched on time, but the courier experienced a delay and your parcel was delivered on 12th June, with a 2-day delay. We’ve raised this issue with the delivery provider to help avoid similar situations in the future.

Poor customer service
Poor customer service. The article I bought broke after 2 weeks. I didn’t get a reply for a month until I chased. I was then asked to return the piece of furniture in its original packaging (6 weeks after the delivery…). I am still waiting for a resolution

Defects which happen with the use of a product fall under the manufacturer’s warranty. In such cases, we usually wait for their response before taking further action. However, as an exception, we agreed to proceed with a replacement before receiving their decision.
As suggested during our phone call today, we will wait for the manufacturer’s reply. If they confirm the return is necessary, we will work with you to find a solution for the packaging.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding — especially as the delay from the manufacturer is beyond our control.

Incredible quality from Kartell and great service from Made in Design
We move into our house 24 years ago and bought a set of Kartell Maui chairs - last week like a slob , I lent back and cracked the chair, my fault - it split in half. I’ve just ordered a new one from France - it took 3 days to be delivered - looks identical to the other chairs which are 24 years old and was cheaper now than it was then

Highly recommended!
Products are lovely. What most impressed me was the smooth delivery process of the items. Since leaving the European Union, ordering items from Europe has been a bit challenging at times. However, this company charged a reasonable price for postage to the UK, a quick and efficient delivery service, as well as providing regular updates about my parcel's journey.
