Emailed the company weeks ago stating the site won’t let me register account to set up payments. Emailed twice since then and heard nothing. Now my account has been passed onto bailiffs! So yeah thanks for that

And for anyone who doesn't know Lowell and Overdales are not separate companies

I have a debt which I do not dispute that I owe. I phoned in November to say I was unable to log onto the website. They acknowledged that the website has problems and needs further work. Since I was unable to log onto the website, I was unable to make any payments. On the phone call, which I felt was quite unprofessional and 'pestery' I was asked why I didn't want to solve the matter on the phone. I explained I had very recently, that same week, had a close family bereavement and simply wanted to get off the phone to deal with family matters. I then received a letter saying that a county court claim had been issued, which I must send back to them. I filled it in and returned in. I now have had a letter saying that since I did not send back the form, they are going ahead with the claim. I did send the form, and have proof of postage of having done so, and a copy of the letter that was included. It seems as though this has all just been discarded/ignored as it suits them better to just make the claim. There is no point emailing about this, as emails go unanswered for the most part. I have a feeling that everything is more or less automated, and that no human staff member ever really looks into any individual case.

This company is full of scams. They claim I owe money to their creditor, but when I asked them to show proof of the contract I signed, they failed to provide it. also got a letter saying 'these debts do not arise under agreements for credit and therefore they are not regulated by the consumer credit Act 1974'. so my question based on what you are asking money to people and harassing them. Let me know if anyone is taking these fraudsters to court—I’ll be the first to sue them. By the way, they put me on a CCJ without proving that I owe anyone money. full of scam bag.

After paying every month since i set up a direct debit with them, checked on their website if this is my last instalment ( which i know it is because i can see how much I paid on my bank statements and my credit report says so as well ). Apparently, on their website, my last payment was made 3 months ago and i have 2 payments left. What a joke.
I emailed them but no response just yet. Although, judging by the reviews, i can forget it.
I will pay the last payment and then cancel my direct debit.

These are the worst company to deal with the phone calls awkward and they don’t ever answer emails because they get loads but manage to send a huge pile of paper work through post and try to threaten but they don’t bother me I can’t be bullied by these scammers all over £200 anyone vulnerable please get someone to communicate with these or you will have problems

Set up a direct debit without my mum's authorisation or knowledge and then wiped her benefits out leaving her with no food or electricity or heating because they took all her money.

Scammers and con men really

I had a ccj taken against me from a fraudulent credit card Overdales were contacted prior to the ccj being take out and told it was fraudulent they choose not to investigate this and ignored it and went ahead with the ccj. I contacted the original company and they investigated and confirmed it was fraudulent. I passed this information to Overdales who did nothing they simply kept taking money from myself.
They act unprofessionally in all instances and I believe have breached government legislation in the handling of this case.

Missed 1 payment and had an email notifying me that action would be taken. All of overdales numbers that are automated and have 2/3 people saying different names then each one says they can't hear you and end the call, even when you call from multiple numbers. Absolute joke, if they're not willing to speak to you how can you resolve it. Surely there's some form of being treated unfairly in this circumstance given the context numbers situation, the FCA will be hearing about this

Tried ringing several times to re set up a direct debit i have been paying on my mum’s behalf as I’ve had a new bank card.
I can’t find the reference number so ringing the number is totally pointless as won’t give me any options without having the reference.
I have sent three emails over a week period now asking them to get in contact and still heard nothing back.
Terrible service.

Received wrong CCJ paid it full within a month (£1.3k)while investigating. My tenancy has finished. Can’t find a place because of referencing as Overdales is not notifying the court that the CCj has been satisfied. Basically homeless because of them. Please sort this out ASAP

Been 1 day and I missed my phone bill which is due every month (£20) . I received a very rude and obnoxious email saying they will take action by send round debt collectors! Embarrassment of a company , and btw I’ve just payed my £20

I am a veteran with cptsd,and heart problems.I received a letter out of the blue from this firm who said I owe money from twenty years ago.to a phone company who I am still with,paying d/devery month.They have added interest to dept ,which I believe I don't,t have.I get a war pension ,and pip.And they have reg a CCJ against me.(I don't,t need a mortgage,credit card ,or a phone contract.)I don't know where I will get the money from to pay this so called dept.

Another company who think they can send you threatening letters and demands for payment without any explanation. Never even heard of the company they say I owe money to. No I'm not contacting your company BTW. Just the ombudsman and my solicitor if necessary.

Made huge payment over 3 weeks ago, not been applied to account and I’ve emailed them 10 times and not a single response. What a shocking company to deal with. Will be seeking legal advice and speaking to ombudsman as you are clearly operating illegally.

Their telling me I owe any debt to id mobile, which I know I cancelled in 2021, not heard from id in years and then all of a sudden six months ago I was sent an email saying I owe 190 pounds re my contract. The phone number they gave I hardly recognised. It definitely wasn't mine. Starting to think their some kind of scammer as why would it take so long for a collection agency to get in touch?

This company is scam. They have been writing to me claiming I owe debts to companies that I don’t owe any money. They have never provided any evidence of the original contract with the company they claim I owe, non have they supplied me with any proof of how the debt was generated.. non have they supplied evidence of any paperwork giving them the rights to act for these companies. They are scammers who harass you and I’m considering taking legal action against them for the stress and harassment.

This shoddy company were instructed to recover the debt of a family member. They undertook NO checks to ascertain their correct address and issued proceedings on my mother’s address. The person had not lived with her for some 9 years!!! He leaves debt everywhere he goes he gives out my mother’s address but he can be quickly found on electoral roll search, which they couldn’t be bothered to do! So my elderly mother gets the proceedings at her house, my mother has never had debt always pays her bills on time the threat of bailiffs terrified her she called this shoddy company and said she would pay it so as to avoid the bailiffs. No affordability or vulnerability checks were done. My mother paid this debt with her saving stage had set aside for her funeral so she would not be a burden to her family! After weeks of not being able to eat/sleep and leave the house she finally confided in me what had happened she had kept it quiet from the family so as not to cause worry and went through all this stress by herself! They knowingly took money from an old lady, it wasn’t her debt and their attitude on receiving our complaint of their handling has been nothing short of rude/cold hearted unprofessionalism they stand by the fact that they have taken the money from her and are proud in their work! How they sleep at night I’ve no idea! I’d give no stars if I could I am going to report them to the Legal Ombudsman now!
