Great team from Richard F Mackay who delivered a huge quantity of units for a large kitchen project to a first floor flat. Good communication in advance, stuck to the agreed delivery times and were all charming, helpful and resourceful. Highly recommend.

Great company to deal with. It was a pleasure browsing round the Edinburgh store with the additional bonus of a cream tea! Staff very friendly and helpful particularly Ioana. We bought a Danish solid walnut sideboard which was excellent quality. It was delivered by Neil and Steve who were both very friendly and helpful in placing the sideboard exactly where we wanted it.

Excellent service from Jaz when we went to select our new sofa. She answered all our questions and there was no pressure to buy. Once ready it was booked in for delivery and delivered without and issue. Couldn't thank the delivery guys anymore as they went above and beyond too.

The delivery guys, Ben and Tom, were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The advanced notice and phone calls were great and a two hour delivery slot was much appreciated

We ordered our furniture in July. We visited the showroom several times and Jas always took time for us and always kept us informed by phone or e mail. Nothing was too much trouble. Our furniture arrived yesterday and was delivered by Murray and Ben who couldn’t be more pleasant and helpful. The did everything for us positioning everything exactly where we wanted it. They tidied up and took all the packaging away with them. Would definitely buy from the shop again. Excellent customer care.

Had delivery of a sofa bed today. Absolutely delighted with it. I would commend the delivery men, Neil & Steve for their care and attention with my delivery. Excellent customer care from ordering with Jason to the delivery. Thank you.

We paid for our sofa in March 2024, but were unable to take possession until early November. The company stored it for us during that period without any qualms. The delivery men arrived during the designated slot time and took the old sofa away. They were polite, professional and efficient, as were all staff we dealt with in the shop. The quality of our sofa and chairs are excellent and when requiring other furniture in the future we will definitely make them our first call.

Neil & Steve delivered our suite this morning at 8am. They were very pleasant and helpful. Situated it where I wanted it placed and replaced pictures on hall wall that had to come down to get the couch in. Very pleasant workers.

Enjoyed my experience with Richard F Mackay
Edinburgh. My carpet and furniture arrived on date specified. Carpet fitter Dom and his partner did a superb job fitting carpet hoovered and tidied up.
Then later in the day my furniture arrived and Neil and Murray took great care fitting it all together
Tidied up after themselves, were super helpful and friendly.

Murray and Ben delivered our new settee this morning. Everything went very smoothly taking out the old settee and bringing in the new one. No hassle whatsoever. They were very friendly and professional. Thanks guys. Anne Clark

Neil and Murray arrived when expected.
As there was a large piece of furniture to deliver and a number of doors to contend with they assessed their best options and fully explained the best route for them to manoeuvre the sofa.
The delivery went without a hitch and both guys were helpful, cheerful and a credit to the Company.

Murray & Ben arrived on time and were very careful moving heavy mattresses in and out of my house. They were confident and efficient but the process did not feel rushed at any time. It was so good to have a delivery which was stress free. Thank you.

I ordered a dining room table and chairs. I waited about 3-4 weeks for it to come but my building work was not finished. I paid the balance for the table and chairs and Richard F Mackay were kind enough to hold on to them free of charge for a further 6 weeks until I was ready. Unfortunately when the goods arrived I discovered they had ordered the wrong table but said I could keep the one that had arrived until they ordered the correct table. My biggest 5 star review goes to Murray and Ben who delivered the table, phoned the store straight away when I said it was the wrong one and sorted it out. Both Murray and Ben were so respectful of my property, so careful with the new furniture, super quick at building it and even put on the wee pads I bought on the feet of table and chairs to prevent marking my flooring. They were so pleasant to deal with. Thank you 😊

Where to start ?

Purchased leather recliners on Wednesday. Ioana helped in the showroom, checking they were in stock. 👍 paid for and left happy as she was able to get a Friday delivery arranged.

Neil & Steve arrived Friday 7.30, removed old sofa and delivered, installed, tested new sofa giving run-thru of use and care. 👍

When we visited the Edinburgh store in the summer the whole experience was very enjoyable and the sales supervisor - Ioana Cherciu was so helpful and pleasant.

We appreciated that making our sofa would take several months and were happy to wait. It arrived Monday. The delivery was arranged for a time to suit us, the old sofa was taken away and the delivery guys - Murray and Ben - were lovely and helpful.

The sofa is fabulous - comfortable and a beautiful colour. We are very pleased.

Neil and Steve delivered our sofas and were very professional, quick, helpful and accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble. All in a very professional service, thank you.
