I'm really fed up with sports guns. Experienced the total lack of response with emails. I appreciate that covid has played a major part with staff off and so on but i think they use that as an excuse to cover their backs.
I enquired by email about a combo pack, no reply, tried phoning several times with no answer, then one day got through by sheer luck i suppose. Enquired about if i could do an upgrade and pay the extra which was agreed.
When the goods were delivered, they didnt upgrade the one item as i requested even though it was on the invoice/delivery sheet. Left off the pellets that i ordered also on the invoice so asked for refund of pellets so i could go locally.
The gun failed two months after purchase and under warranty. I called them immediately and told that they would contact wholesaler and let me know the next day. Didnt hear anything and phoned them again, they told me that they were waiting on the wholesaler to reply to them. Three more days passed and again called them with a promise of a return call in the next ten minutes. two and half hours later, i called the wholesaler myself and they had no knowledge of my warranty claim, so sports guns telling porkies.
Full credit to the wholesaler, they said they would chase up with sportsguns and ask them follow up. An hour later, still waiting.
I have advised myself and yet i didnt follow my own advice, something of high value or necessity, pay the few more pounds and purchase locally for instances like this. This will probably take couple of weeks to sort out and at least a month before i get the gun back as deliveries are made in my area every two weeks.

Received the wrong calibre of gun due to multiple errors on their website which described it incorrectly. Contacted them for help and no one ever got back to me. Strongly do not recommend, zero customer service.

I ordered a Crosman airgun from this company.
The site said between 3 & 28 days,not a problem as long as I know.
I let a few weeks pass and apart from the first email thanking me for my payment, and after sending two emails and receiving no response, I decided to look into my account details, to my surprise according to the account I had no purchases with this company.
I decided to send them a message via PayPal seeing as they do not answer emails.
Voila 2 days later I received my airgun, no message of any description
Just this morning I got a PayPal message from a lady at the above mentioned to ‘please close this dispute‘, which I have.
Due to the bolshy manner of the people this company employs I will not be using them again.

Ordered an airgun during the lockdown and I am glad to say it arrived within 3 and a half weeks of ordering ;as I was given a 3-5 weeks delivery estimate ,I am more than happy with the time it took to get to my door,especially given the circumstances. Bought the gun at a great price and the delivery driver was a very nice and polite fellow.

Great service, after being badly let down by one of the other Major companies i thought i would give Cardigan a try. The Items were actually cheaper than the rival and arrived on time like they said they would. They were out of stock for one of the smaller items so sent me 2 replacements of higher quality as an apology. Great service highly recommended.

Placed order via website and recieve an email stating delivery within 21 days. After 21 days pass i email and recieve no reply. Then at 28 days they call me to say they dont have what i ordered in stock! What a huge waste of my time. Wont use again.

Ordered a gun waited 5 weeks four then to tell me can’t get what I wanted really bad service wood never buy of this company anymore I paid up front got refund no sorry from them had to wait a week for refund so altogether 6 week not good very unhappy

Recieved my order today after a little wait, absolutely love my purchase and everything was perfect. They'd thrown in a free tin of pellets as a sorry for any inconvenience (thank you). The delivery man was spot on and very friendly.

Great service provided, ordered my air rifle on the 25th May, and delivered on 14th June (within the promised time period).

Overall excellent service by everyone I have liaised with my order.

16th May placed a order for a Remington air cobra .22

Having previously used sportsguns back in February I placed another order for my dad as we couldn’t fault them.

So placed order received and received this email back

Time went by nothing from them. My dad contacted them several times was told different stories each time. The website then. Changed to 35 days my dad rang and spoke to mike who said “no yours we’ll be delivered within the 21days you have my word” that was worth nothing!
A bit of honesty would have helped believe me, the amount of times it was on suppose to be in the van but never delivered Then they were organising routes The route I could have walked there and got it quicker. But basically that gun wasn’t in stock. Like all the other air gun dealers but at least they were honest and put out of stock on website.

We had enough of getting fobbed off With excuses.So out of curiosity I got my husband to ring them to ask if gun was in stock. Guess what it wasn’t! that’s what Carole told him. Finally some truth. But she would have been more than happy for him to place a order on the phone not knowing when stock would come in. Due to the situation and suppliers. Which matched up with other air gun suppliers who were honest And upfront all said they were waiting on delivery

So after several emails trying to get them to commit to delivery date was always avoided. They were always planning route but it’s on the van or going on the van. Excuse after excuse

So after sending another email they said it was coming on Friday 12th between 5&9pm we were suspicious by this delivery time. Was this again to buy more time hoping stock would be in.
We weren’t prepared to wait any longer so asked for a refund.

The next email then said “it is very difficult to plan 200 deliveries on a route so apology .especially in these circumstances !!

Why take orders if you can’t cope?
So I emailed asking for a refund. Carole said she would
Happily refund .however your order is packed on the van which left to nite .
Carole “

Even though they were told earlier on in afternoon to cancel order and refund.

So emailed back and asked when I would get my refund. Carole replied Monday

I rang to speak with Carole and all I can say is your customer service really needs some brush up skills. So RUDE! But wait for it. She now has to Wait for van to return with paper work maybe another lie or knows with this company. I don’t believe a word they say

I did get refunded.

A company we would have kept using but due to lies and brush offs we would never use again.

After covid 19, businesses will need customers more than ever so good luck to this one. but after this experience I won’t be using you again nor recommending you.

Ordered air rifle and revolver. Immediately got email saying delivery will be made within 3 weeks. made 2 phone calls after 10 and 20 days, asking when I can expect delivery. Always answer was next week, next week. After 3,5 weeks got phone call that actually item I ordered is not available atm, and offered similar one. i cancelled order not because of alternative item quality, but for fooling me that my order is going delivered soon, even not bothering checking their stock and orders within 3 weeks
Gave them one extra star for low prices and immediate refund

Appreciate weve been in lockdown but zero communication and a very rude lady.
They ran out of stock but 3 weeks in failed to let me know, if I didn't constantly chase who knows how long id be waiting.

Good prompt service, particularly in the middle of COVID-19 Pandemic. Good communication and customer service. They sent an order to me, it was well boxed and protected, within the timescale. They rang the day before delivery to say expect it tomorrow and on the day to say when, delivered within minutes of that time. I only have good things to say and thank you.

Well I had a rat problem, I phoned mike and told him and he sold me a Hatsan 900x . Well what can i say , what a top guy to start with whent out of he way to help. And the gun , just great £99.00 and shoots like a £500 gun first pellet was a kill.

bought my first Co2 4.5mm BB form sports guns which was a Dan Wesson absolutely love the revolver grate for back yard plinking, I've read some unfortunate comments on here from other reviewers which I can't comment on but from my part I had no trouble at all, very smooth transaction, as I've now decided to start shooting as a sport I'll be visiting you guys soon for my first air rifle.

An honest and trustworthy online retailer. Great communication, delivered my item quickly to my front door. Very friendly delivery driver. Couldn't ask for a better service. A 5 star company in every respect.

Just taken delivery of a 'shop-soiled' AA s200 from Sportsguns. Arrived exactly at 9am as stated. Advert showed some minor rust spots to barrel and cylinder, so I was expecting to have a little work to do. However the rifle had been tidied up before dispatch and is in better condition than I expected, very pleasantly surprised! Fitted a scope and moderator and tried out some shots at 25 yards with QYS pellets. Wow! Pellet on pellet action with no practice or time to get used to gun. Extremely happy with Sportsguns! Thank you guys!

Bad customer service, do not reply to emails. Did not send what is written on item description.. item missing and archery arrows broke after first hour.. i may as well have thrown my money in the bin!!!
