This is my second gun from this gun shop.
Up to yet I've not had any issues at all .
Very good shop and very helpful staff I will only buy my guns from this shop from now on .

OK so this isn't a slating, nor is it massive praise. I ordered three pistol crossbows for Xmas presents for my kids, with the plan to get my partner and accessories etc over the next few months.

I called the shop, told them what I was after and they said they had them in stock but they would check too see if the handles were there as they ard sometimes missing. All was well, so I ordered.

Delivery was quick and on time, packaging was OK. Inspected the contents to find one handle and one bolt missing from one crossbow. I called the shop and told them, and was told they "had been allocated to me" and I will get a call back. Anyway as nothing by close of play I followed up with an email just to make sure it was noted.

Two days passed and nothing back so I called again to be told it was being queried with the supplier and I will get a call. I was given one supplier name at this point which I won't put on here.

Three days pass (including a Sunday) nothing back, so called the shop again to be told it is still on query with the supplier and was given a different name.

I explained then that this was my fourth attempt at getting the missing parts and asked if they couldn't just be taken out of another. I was told at this stage they would look into it when they get a moment.

Got a call at the end of the day around five days after ordering to say they are being sent and will arrive yesterday. They did.

So, over all, quick and easy buying process. Good products, however products aren't checked before being shipped or it would have been noted. Very little response to things and no calls back when promised. So customer service isn't great. That being said, they did deliver when they said they would, and I understand that things might sometimes go missing. But the person. Shipping should be checking products before sending, or at least that is my opinion.

It's a tentative 3 bordering 4, but having to chase things down shouldn't be left to the customer. I wouldn't say I would never use them again, they were often curtious and polite etc, just the overall experience wasn't great.

Ordered a Umarex CO2 pistol which was delivered last Sunday. After inspecting and using the pistol found that there was a fault with the it, probably due to poor factory assembly. Rang SportsGuns on Tuesday morning. By Thursday they had delivered a replacement and arranged for the faulty pistol to be returned. Could they have dealt with this any better or faster? No. First class. I would suggest a telephone call as always likely to be dealt with more promptly than an email. I have bought previously from this shop and find them most efficient and polite.

I received my Nemesis 177 Co2 air pistol on Monday and checked the contents on Tuesday and found that l X Tandem magazine was not working. I was unable to contact Sportsguns by telephone so sent an email asking them for their comments.Todate l have not received an answer. My concerns are that if l had a more serious problem, would l have to keep trying to contact them by telephone instead of email.
Delivery of the pistol was fine as was ordering the pistol.

These guys are spot on !! I bought a air rifle off them on finance however I had trouble charging it, i called them and explained to them I was having problems with it. They couldn’t of been anymore helpful they sent out a replacement to be swapped, on a bank holiday and fitted the delivery time around me, as I had plans, I also bought a compressor off of them as well which worked out cheaper than anywhere else. I would recommend this shop to anyone and I will definitely use them again !!

I shopped around initially and a friend told me about Sports Guns. I'm glad i listened to him. I bought everything i needed from them, the staff were amazing and i will definately use only then in the future. From the minute i telephoned my order to them, right up to delivery to my door, i cannot fault them and the outstanding service they provide is an absolute credit to the staff there. They certainly do go aboveand beyond to ensure that your customer service is excellent. Thank you so much for a fantastic service. 5 stars is not enough for these guys.

Tried ordering an air gun and parts from another more renown looking registered firearms dealer, but after a month of bad communication and the item not being in stock, plus the refund request initially being ignored, I went with Sportsguns.

I phoned and asked if a part was in stock, a helpful lady went directly to their stores and checked, I also asked what the delivery is like and was told due to where I live it'd be next week if ordered before Monday. So I ordered and got an email (the site has an order status too) next week got a text asking if a date and time was ok, I confirmed. The day before I got another text just to confirm and I confirmed, then the item got delivered dead on time. This is how customer service should be, you don't take people's money like the other company and leave them out of the loop for a month, would recommend Sportsguns.

Only thing I would say as a friendly critique, being a good company I think they should try and update their site a bit, change the HTML placement of the sub headings so they're in categories rather than a big list etc.

I have purchased several pistols and rifles from Sportsguns Wales and have never had any problems. They always keep you informed by both phone and text on the status of your order and delivery schedules. Anybody considering purchasing either new or second hand rifles / pistols should do themselves a favor and check them out.

First time using sportsguns everything was so easy from ordering to delivery great company and will definitely be ordering from them again and very happy with the gun

Excellent company, communication and customer support, I will definitely be using them in the future.

Really bad experience with them Sportguns Wales and Mike Sabz (Mike sabiston) put my phone number and email address on Facebook for everyone to see and he said he would put the rest of my personal details including my home address online !! Because I raised my voice to a female member of staff who was being rude at the time he said I threatened her ! He can call me all the names he wants on the internet I’m a big boy and veteran I’ve heard worse, but what he can’t do is post my details online ! Looking forward to talking to the police about the data protection act ;-) I wonder if the rest of the Airgun community knows that sportsguns uk will possibly report you to the police if they don’t agree with what your saying ?

Placed an order for two B.B. guns on the 24 July. I had a very minimal automated reply , and then nothing, no updates. Emailed the address on the reply / PayPal transaction, no response. Got a call eventually on 2/8 saying they were delivering in the area on 4/8... which happens to be the day of a massive festival where I live, and I pointed out to them they would have trouble getting to me. They said they would see how it went - then again I heard nothing whatsoever back from them. I chased by email once more and then eventually opened a PayPal claim on the 10/8 as I decided to shop elsewhere. Funnily enough the minute I opened the case I got an immediate email from someone asking what the issue was. I explained I was still waiting for the order, hadn’t had any contact or updates - the man did go to see what had happened and it turned out the email address on the invoice / PayPal (the only info I had to had when I was chasing it) wasn’t the one I should have used to contact them (a receipt for the order with the right contact info on or a link would have been super helpful!). I called the store a few days later and asked for a refund. They said yes but I didn’t get one. I emailed the right address - twice - and asked. I still haven’t had a refund. The PayPal case remains open so perhaps I will get a refund eventually that way - however. I couldn’t possibly recommend shopping here. I purchased in good faith, used the info available to me on the sales documentation, chased the order and called. I got told off for using the wrong email address and some quite shirty messages from the owner. And i’m about £167 out of pocket. All in all reallly not a great experience. I’m interested to see on other reviews that for the most part it goes ok which is great, but when it goes wrong it does seem customers get a bit of short shrift from management and struggle to negotiate a resolution.
Edited to add: the company have responded that I refused all calls - they did call me a couple of times while I was working and unable to speak but I tried repeatedly to contact them by email (I work in public health protection and I work flat out - answering my personal phone isn’t always possible). At no point was my teenage son involved in the order!
An incredibly aggressive reply from the company below - public health isn’t just Covid, you know, it existed and was busy long before then! Both my solicitor and I will enjoy looking out for the video you promise below - all I can suggest is potential customers read your responses and beware..!

excellent company have purchased two guns and now just ordered a third, would highly recommend, personally would not shop anywhere else

I am an experienced (practical) pistol, rifle and shotgun shooter and have transferred these disciplines into the latest airgun technology. Sportsgun provide a service that is second to none. Their web site is well designed and easy to use. They have a wide range of stock at competitive prices, which are delivered to your door at a prearranged date / time. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough and I will be buying from them again soon.

Great service and price, my first order using these guys and very happy with both service and items, i ordered one of their bundle deals plus some extras and all items are as i hoped, got a text earlier in the week advising of delivery time and day so easy to make sure i would be in, will definitely be ordering more once i start getting better at it, for now i'm going start practicing

Ordered from this company earlier in the week, had a few problems as I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund. After several emails and a phone call, we agreed on a full refund minus a small handling charge. So it turned out well in the end.

When talking on then phone, very clear and straight to point which I can't say the same about my local rfds.
