When the time came to extend a lease on my property, I did not have a clue about where and how to start. The company itself, Charter Surveyor, and Solicitor from Nexa Law Limited are all excellent specialists, 100% transparent in payments, and very helpful to answer any question in a process.

I used LEC to extend the lease on my flat. They responded quickly to my enquiry with detailed, yet easy to understand, information as to how to proceed including quotes for formal & informal routes. As I had already contacted the freeholder (the local council) & obtained a quote that I thought reasonable, I choose the informal, & less expensive, route. All proceeded quite quickly & has been completed.

We had a really good service from start to finish - The process was explained and fees were transparent (no nasty unexpected charges).

Service was great, and whilst the process was delayed I felt comfortable that everything was in hand on our part.

The Lease Extension Company did everything they said prior to my commitment. They answered to all my queries without any delay and informed me with every step of the procedures.
I can highly recommend them.

After being advised by estate agents about selling my investment flat that the 81 year lease was problematic for buyers who needed a mortgage I chose the lease extension company to help me with the process which can be quite complicated. It all depends on your freeholder.
I found this company was open and honest about their approach and costs.
They put in place a great lawyer and surveyor who handled everything as quickly as was possible really. They gave honest advice - even if it was not what I wanted to hear. New legislation means these things cost more now!
But along the way I got an introduction to a conveyancing lawyer who worked alongside the lease lawyer at the same firm to ensure everything was coordinated to sell the flat keeping my buyer happy. This was really invaluable actually.
I would recommend this company as it takes away most of the stress associated with this process.
I can’t comment on their efficiency if you have to go to arbitration, but on a reasonable transaction they did what they advertise.
