My experience with the lease extension company has been stress free and second to none.

They have been supportive and assisted me all throughout the very long process of extending our flat lease and assigned us a very good legal team who are equally as good. What you want from a company is that they are there answering all your questions and even to the point advising you what best decisions to take (obviously it’s your final decision). They have that human, personal touch in all their dealings. I also like that fact that all the costs are laid out in black and white - all rolled in one - explained to you in simple terms, so you know what to expect in terms of expense/ costs.

I highly recommend the lease extension company - the best in market (and i’ve done my research). You won’t regret it.

I don’t really write reviews as such, but this Company & it’s Team were fantastic, so I decided to make an exception. Very professional, kind, accommodating & knowledgable. They have a great pool of Suppliers who expertly guide you through the entire ‘complicated’ process of extending a lease. I’ve now successfully extended my lease & owe the painless process to the amazing LEC!

Very good service. Responsive and did a good job.

The company itself is brilliant together with the surveyors and lawyers they instructed on my behalf. However the landlords lawyers etc took everything to the wire making it a very slow process.

We had a very good experience with the Lease Extension Company. They provided a smooth and efficient service throughout the process and helped us successfully extend our lease quickly. Very responsive and competitive price - would recommend.

The service was great, despite dealing with a very complicated and niche case (which has taken a long time to resolve). Attrocious. Was first told that their 1990 fixed price included vat (which did make them cheapest) but then was told its 1990+vat (which made them most expensive of 5 others I was looking at) Last phone call, the woman interrupted me twice and when I asked he to stop doing that, she hung up on me. Then they sent me an email saying "We have a zero-tolerance policy to working with anyone who speaks in an aggressive manner to any of our staff." Aparenntly they can talk over you, but if you ask them to stop, with no raised voice and no profanity its called "aggressive". thanks heavens they revealed their true colours before we parted with any money.

"Your quote clearly stated £1.990 plus VAT"
No it didn't. That was the problem.

"You called to query the cost and despite polite and professional attempts to explain you’d misunderstood the pricing (VAT) you continued to be unpleasant to our staff."

That is a total lie.
It is you who repeatedly spoke over me.
It is you who hung up the phone when I asked that you don't do that.

"In an additional call with a female member of the team, you were again rude and aggressive and so you were then told we would not work with you and that the call would be ended."

There was only 1 call, and I only spoke to 1 person, so thats a total lie.
Rude and aggresive is a brush used to tar peolpe who disagree with you. Why don't you say what happened rather than the conclusion you want people to believe.

"As a company, we take any aggressive or threatening behavior​ to any member of our team very seriously."

Again, blanket acusation with no evidence.
As a customer I take being talked over and hung up on very seriously.

The service was excellent, timely and well-organised. I never needed to chase, or follow up on next steps - the whole process was clearly explained in a simple manner, would definitely recommend using The Lease Extension Company.

I found the experience with The Lease Extension Company a good one. Having had no prior experience with extending a lease it was particularly useful to have all of the separate facets combined and managed through a single service. The documentation and guidance provided was clear and even when the solicitors involved in the process closed down midway through my case was seamlessly handed over and progressed by an alternative one. Would definitely recommend and use again.

From start to finish the whole process of the lease extension was explained comprehensively in the correspondence sent, so I new the cost and different stages at the beginning. Having LEC manage the process offered reassurance to me and LEC instructed a solicitor and surveyor to undertake my lease extension. The solicitors were fantastic and kept me updated throughout and the surveyor was quick to complete the report and submit it. There was quite a bit of paper work to sort out, but with a little time, straightforward to do. The whole process took about five months to complete, even with the Christmas Period in the middle of that. I think it would have been far more stressful if I had gone it alone. The cost of using LEC was definitely worth it and was extremely fair. I would highly recommend using LEC, it definitely helps having people knowledgeable about the lease extension process. Very professional service that keeps you aware of the whole process all of the way through. Lease extending can be difficult to understand, so you need a team that are going to look after you from start to finish. There are various negotiations that take place and people that are experienced in these matters are vital. The costings are fully explained up front so you have plenty of time to budget for the important legal process. I shall be using the LEC in the near future for 2 more properties that need their leases extended. Thank you all who helped me to obtain my first ever lease extension.
