That’s why our nationwide network of out-of-hours pet emergency clinics are open through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays, so we’re ready and waiting to provide expert pet emergency care when your regular vet is having some time off.
Our pet emergency clinics are the pet equivalent of A&E and our purpose is to give you and your pet the care and support you deserve, at the time you need it most, whether it’s four in the morning or in the middle of Sunday lunch.
Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. So whether you’re in Aberdeen, Belfast or Portsmouth we’re there for you and your pet when you need us most.
We’ve also pioneered other ways to help pets, pet owners and the veterinary profession, such as our comprehensive referrals service and providing our staff with industry-leading training and development opportunities. We also support the pet blood transfusion charity, Pet Blood Bank UK. Meanwhile, our two hospitals — in Glasgow and Manchester — are home to some of the UK’s leading specialists in the field of emergency and critical care and provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The place was clean
The place was clean. Waiting time was long. 3 hrs in total. Receptionist very nice plus the one vet on duty could not fault her. In fact felt VERY sorry for her as she was the only vet that was working plus Bath was closed that night she was really busy she handle some rude people very well.

Amazing service
Many thanks to Hattie and the team at Zealand Road out of hours, who identified my dog was really very poorly and took great care of her over night. She arranged for her to be referred to Langford hospital. Thank you to all the team for all your help and support during a really difficult and unplanned event, we really are truly grateful. Thank you to the receptionists who made us feel so welcomed and offered coffee

Very good vet attended our cat
Very good vet attended our cat. Good communication and explain the problem very well. The costs however are extortionate : £375 just for the visit plus medication.

Fantastic in an emergency
Fantastic in an emergency! My cat was seen straight away and treatment began. The whole staff team were fantastic support. I really can't thank them enough!

They gave amazing care to our dog…
They gave amazing care to our dog before and after his operation, kept us updated on how he was doing and what they needed to do, staff were really friendly and very helpful. So glad he was looked after so well

Really not good
Really not good, all they seem to be interested in is getting payment, made my daughter wake up her stepmom at 3am to pay even though my dog is insured before they would see my dog, I will be raising an official complaint

Fast phone pick up and booked us in to a nearby vet on Wednesday evening. Vet dealt with our dog quickly and sent us away with medication.
