My Mainecoon spent two nights being looked after in Glasgow.
The staff could not have been nicer, very clear with their plans and morning updates.
A very busy centre and still took the time to make sure you were updated in the evenings.
Would highly recommend.
Thank you so much for the care and attention you showed Kimaya.

It’s taken me 9 months to leave a review only because I worry I jinxed my boy’s recovery. He is like his old self again so I’m ready
Our boy Boston was an emergency back in September last year and spent 3 days in intensive care. Mega Oesophagus was the cause. We got him home and after sitting him upright to feed, the meds he had and a whole change of food he’s doing amazing. No more regurgitating or coughing and off all the meds.
In December we had to go back and get some cancerous lumps cut out that were put on hold due to the emergency. Again another tough, scary and emotional time
We can’t thank everyone enough that our beautiful boy had all the best treatment. For us to now (nearly 10 months) on we feel he’s closer back to himself than we ever imagined he would get
Thank you so much: Hannah (emergency care), Alix (internal medicine), Jenny & Pamela (oncology), Donald & Dan (for his cancer op) and all the lovely friendly helpful reception team you were amazing and we are truly grateful to you
Just writing this brings tears to my eyes so please know how much your skill, caring, understanding and support means Boston is still here and back with us, his sister and his brother Bubba

From the first call to meeting the vet the service was caring and professional. This was my first time using Vets Now and I’d have no hesitation in recommending.

The team at the NOW vet were great, they greet you and your pet with a smile. And at the consultation the vet explained everything in a simplified manner, repeating important information. Thank you

We were referred to Vets Now by our own vet following a disappointing experience at another animal hospital, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made.
Our Golden Retriever, Skye, who recently turned 11, had been dealing with ongoing ear issues for months. After various medications and repeated visits, he was diagnosed with a cholesteatoma in his right ear, and surgery was recommended.
Skye’s procedure was carried out by Mr Donald Yool at Vets Now Glasgow, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. He was exceptionally informative and supportive throughout, taking the time to explain everything clearly and ensuring we felt confident in the treatment plan.
The surgery was a success, and Skye stayed overnight before coming home to begin his recovery. His surgical site was clean and well cared for, and the aftercare instructions provided by the nursing team were clear, thorough, and easy to follow.
We’re very grateful for the professionalism and care shown by Mr Yool and the entire Vets Now Glasgow team, and we would highly recommend them for their expertise, communication, and excellent aftercare.

The staff on arrival at the front desk were lovely as always as had to use Vets Now previously before Christmas last year which was an emergency aswell..They are very empathic/understanding when you're in a state of worry/panic regarding your Furbaby!
Last year the Vet was very thorough explaining everything that was happening albeit it wasn't to be with Queen Ruby passing after receiving the utmost care for a couple of days/overnight from them..It was quite sudden/peaceful back at original Vet with my Daughter/myself in attendance albeit heartbreaking for us but they were fantastic in treating her as well as being sympathetic/respectful towards us aswell.
On this occasion with Timmy they took him through immediately as original Vet was closed again then the Vet kept us up to date with what was happening which was reassuring..We took him back home after his examinations/scans as they would only have observed him if keeping him in as they said that original vet would decide what to do on seeing him the next day when they were opened..They prescribed decongestant powder which I said doesn't work for him as he's had it before although that's what they gave us anyway after having him on oxygen on arrival there..The next day at original Vet he was given anti sickness injection/steroid injection with antibiotics and oral steroids to be administered at home..Why didn't they give him those injections at Vets Now when he was seen there..Also the information given to us there seemed to conflict with what original Vet told us the following day when he was seen by them..It's somewhat confusing as they could've easily given him the injections quicker as he's an unwell boy and obviously needed it!
I've given 5 stars for their loving care and attention regarding Queen Ruby although I do think that Timmy should've been given more treatment at his visit..I understand that they're an emergency pet hospital but if it wasn't an emergency people wouldn't take their Furbabies there to begin with so I'm somewhat disappointed really!
This review is in no way designed to be detrimental to Vets Now as they do provide an excellent out of hours emergency service when needed to which I'm truly grateful for!

Staff here are so nice! The waiting area for cats is separate from dogs (which is great as my girl likes her own space), and the specialist team we see are so attentive to my cats needs. When required prescriptions are issued so I can order medication and other advice is given where needed to help her thrive. For what her treatment could cost, I feel Vets Now are very competitive with pricing.

Attended early sat morning (02/05/26) around 2am with a very unwell dog, waited several hours while she lay on a stone cold floor, as soon as we got there we asked to get some water for our dog which was given but she brought it straight back up, this should have been major cause for concern from staff and thought they may have took our pet in as soon as possible, this wasn't the case,
Seen around 3 and a half hours later after our pet ended up taking a fit in the waiting room, all staff soon rushed in.
She was triaged, we were told some awful news after some tests but decided to give our dog the best possible fighting chance and proceeded with treatments, £230 for a salene drip, was given the option of taking our pet back to her own vets when they opened which was the best thing we done.
Asked the vet to administer the ivf drip to be told they might be too busy to do it now or by the time we take our pet away.
Were also advised of potential costs of over £1500+ per 12 hour stay in the hospital, sadly we had just changed insurance policies due to our dogs age and because it was in the first 14 day of the policy, we werent covered for any of these bills.
There was no emotion shown from the staff at all, we were handed our pet around 8am with a bag with 3/4 of the salene soltion still in it and told "you might aswell take this with you, after all you have paid for it" not something I felt was right at the time.
We took our dog to her own vets who faught tooth and nail to stabalize her, sadly she was too far gone and unlikely to make a recovery and we had to say goodbye to our girl the next day.
I seen another family that night who had their pet put down, poor man was in tears and not one person asking if he was ok or if they could offer any help or support.
Our dogs own vets on the other hand were wiping tears from their eyes, even had a candle lit with a sign advising other people that someone is saying goodbye to their loved one when this candle is lit and asked to keep noise down etc.
They took our dogs paw print and clippings of her hair for us to keep for treasured memories at no cost at all.
Total cost at vets now Glasgow £771
Further cost of £800 at her own vets.
I would avoid this pet hospital at all costs

We can’t thank Olivia enough for the care and kindness she showed while helping look after our cat Thor at Vets for Pets. She was so patient, gentle, and reassuring during a really stressful time for us. It was clear she genuinely cared about his wellbeing and took the time to explain things and keep us calm too. We felt completely confident leaving him in her hands. Such a lovely person and a real credit to the practice – thank you, Olivia
We also can’t fault the team at Vets now as a whole. From start to finish, everyone was professional, compassionate, and incredibly supportive. The practice is well organised, communication was clear, and we always felt listened to and taken seriously. During such a worrying situation, it made a huge difference knowing our cat was in such capable, caring hands. We’re so grateful for the level of care provided and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this vets to anyone.

Vets now were fantastic. They kept us updated and informed right throughout as our 6 month old retriever puppy had to undergo major surgery. They treated our boy Sonny with great holistic and kind aftercare for which we are forever grateful. Thank you to the surgeons, nursing and admin staff for everything! He is healing well!
