Our pet emergency clinics are the pet equivalent of A&E and our purpose is to give you and your pet the care and support you deserve, at the time you need it most, whether it’s four in the morning or in the middle of Sunday lunch.
Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. Very helpful video consultation for a pet that hates traveling
Very helpful video consultation, especially when your pet doesn't travel too well. The vet was very helpful and polite at the check up, and helped to determine if a naughty gerbil needed to see a specialist vet.

To explain, there are inherent limitations to remote consultations and some animals must have a physical examination to investigate and resolve their issues. Video Vets Now is a triage service. Around a third of our cases are triaged away requiring only advice. Of the remaining caseload around half require urgent face-to-face consultations with the remainder requiring less urgent care. If your pet has a physical injury, we are unable to resolve that remotely, so you will be advised to see a vet face-to-face so that they can provide physical treatment. In such cases, we happily refund the cost of your Video Vets Now consultation under our Never Pay Twice promise. We do not receive any payment from practices and are not reimbursed by them when we refund the cost of the Video Vets Now consultation.

Sympathetic chap answered the phone & talked me through what my options were. I booked a video call. It was quite a lengthy process. Kept timing out & id just given all these details to the chap on the phone making it a little stressful when I was already worried about my dog.
Having said that the vet who called was equally sympathetic and reassured me I was doing the right thing re my dog.
The video link worked really well on my phone.

Charged £192 for no appointment
Tried to book an appointment online but kept getting an error message telling me the appointment couldn't be booked and to try again. Did this several times (I was desperate for an appointment) and kept getting the same message. Days later, I discovered I'd been charged 8 x £24 - despite getting an error message each time telling me the appointment hadn't been booked. They refunded the money, but I'm shocked that their system basically defrauded me repeatedly by taking money each time and telling me to try again! Really dodgy.

Wanted to try as vet bills are so high. "Could be this, could be that - hard to say..." My experience was not positive. Vet didn't ask to see cat. Not a solution for anything that might be serious.

Very efficient and easy to use service. Vet was knowledgeable, talked through our concerns and gave us time to ask plenty of questions. We used the service as we were away from home and it was a Sunday. Good value for money.

Great Service
Booking the video appointment was simple and I was seen within the hour. Sinead Kelly was lovely, she gave very clear advice and instruction. A fantastic 'out of hours' service, I would definitely recommend.

Emergency video call
Managed to book an emergency video call scheduled within 30 minutes. Very knowledgeable vet. Took the time to understand Dexters history and was able to view what the problem was on camera. The advice was clear and put my mind at rest. Would recommend this service
