Avoid Xeric at any cost

Ordered a few watches, which were never delivered. Lost tons of time exchanging emails with their support, who were lying all the time about a ship out, while actually they never did it - logistics confirmed it several times. Got partial refund, still left at the loss... They are funding their projects from naive people - keep away from them!

Hey Tomas! We've reviewed your information and correspondence. Unfortunately, the courier was unable to provide further updates about the package. The did inform us that the item had shipped, but occasionally an item will go without updated tracking and still end up being delivered. Regardless, we did have our Route Package Protection reach out and refund your shipment. We're still keeping an eye on the tracking, just in case it does finally get delivered. Thanks for being so patient while we tried to resolve your shipment issue!

This company is a fraud

This company is a fraud. They figured out how to electronically notify USPS of a shipment but never actually deliver the shipment to the Postal Service. Then they blame the USPS for losing the shipment. It's all BS. I purchased a watch DEC 14th, and it had a shipping number and looked legitimate. After 20 days of playing around with me with emails from their help desk they finally said that that they received confirmation from the post office that the product was lost in transit. In follow-up the USPS never received a physical shipment. Just the electronic notification. It was a scam from day one. Now because I did not purchase "route insurance" they are offering another watch at half price. What a rip-off. Out 300.00 dollars for nothing but a fancy picture of a watch that if true would have made a great Christmas Present for my son.

Rest assured, no scams here. Unfortunately, the holidays are the busiest time of the year for shipments. All couriers are heavily delayed and they do still use the old COVID excuse. That's actually why we added insurance to the checkout process. Route Package Protection offers full refunds and replacements for lost and damaged shipments. Additionally, we do offer UPS as a shipping method, which covers your package up to $200 in most cases. If you opted out of the insurance, we always try to offer something to help compensate for the loss.

We do apologize and appreciate your feedback. The post office notified us that the item was delivered to the address on file just a few days after this review. So hopefully you were able to received that shipment. We'd love to hear how everything turned out!

Stay away from Xeric, Watchismo and all other company's they run!!!

Review 2: Stop using Covid as an excuse for your horrible shipping delays. This project was way over your head. Not to mention that this problem occurs with your older projects. You guys don't need kickstarter to fund your projects, the only reason u use it is to avoid consumer rights. In my opinion the watch sucked btw. It was poor quality and def not worth the $500 retail on your website. Also the watch didn't run right. I sold it immediately when I got my hands on it to a 3rd party. Was not going to wait another year for a replacement. Please people, be warned.

Biggest rip off

Biggest rip off. I spent close to 500 dollars with this company. The watches were supposed to be a christmas present, The watches were more than 6 months late as the watches are being mass produced in China, the company was happy to blame Coronavirus however we had been promised the watches before Christmas, long before production was disrupted by the pandemic. Although annoying they couldn't do anything about the pandemic. Putting that aside. The quality was sh!t. The watches do not work, they died after just a few weeks. These guys are charlatens. You will be better off going to the market and buying a knock off Rolex for a tenner. Atleast your not being made a fool of there! It is so disappointing and the last time i will spend money with them.

Beware the only thing worse than the quality of workmanship is their customer service. Please don't waste your money on them.

Stoped working after half-a-year

Watch arrived late (but at least it arrived). After half-a-year it STOPED WORKING. Don’t buy for them! It’s a crap watch sold at premium price.

Dishonest company that uses flashy…

Dishonest company that uses flashy marketing and paid posts to gain customers. I purchased 3 NASA watches via Kickstarter and as such, am not allowed a refund after 6 months of delays. Reaching out to support will get you canned responses from "support" which are probably just bots.

Given the opportunity, avoid this Xeric, Watches.com, Archetype, Martenero, California Watch Co. and any projects started my Mitch and Andrew Greenblatt. You will not only be disappointed by the build quality but also the delays, excuses and poor customer service from their absolutely tone deaf staff.

Don't forget that they'll send you promotional emails getting you to "pre-order" on watches.com because they took the $5M to bulk up on orders for their retail outlets. Absolute SCAM and stay away. Your wallet will thank you.

Scam company with low quality products AVOID

Bought a watch which turned out to be defective. They then spent 6 months repairing and returning it (all pre covid19 so wasn’t anything to do with that) they then sent me back a fake pre production version with my limited edition back plate stuck on.

They refuse to extend the warrantee even though they had the watch for longer than me during its 1 year period. And refuse to honour the purchase which included a watch with specific low numbering on the back plate.

Trying to alter the reality + SUPER LATE DELIVERY

I bought a watch from them via Kickstarter in September with declared delivery in December. 08th of January I got an update from Xeric saying that my watch is not going to be sent for another couple of weeks.
So I mail them. Here is how it goes down:

I am humbly asking You to send out my order with the first shipment possible. This is a gift for my dearest friend to whom I owe a lot and I would be upset if I failed to give it to him for his birthday on the 27th of January.

You're doing a great job updating all customers about the delivery time but still the campaign on kickstarter declared delivery in December.

I hope You can take my request into consideration. Below is my order information:

This is very disappointing how You do not care. For Your answer You copied the email that was the reason I mailed You. Even Though You declared delivery in December in Your kickstarter campaign You are not apologizing and instead You are lying about keeping delivery on schedule. Which schedule? Delivery in December was the schedule You lured all Your kickstarter customers with. This is a very inappropriate way to handle such a polite request like mine.

No. Producing watches is nothing new and kickstarter has long ago stopped promoting only startups. Unfortunately they are trying to convince me this was something different then a sales campaign for christmas. Was Xeric a startup or the campaign was about some invention, my attitude would have been different of course.

Really disappointed about they approach.
