We were very sceptical when Aston Berry first approached us about R & D Funding we were entitled to claim from HMRC, we even phoned a couple of the companies who had left reviews for reassurance that this wasn't a scam. But today, less than four weeks after we first started this process we have received a substantial amount of money we were unaware we were entitled to. Anthony Morrison who acted on our behalf was friendly and professional without being pushy and at no point did we feel under duress to start this process. Anthony guided us through, explaining everything he was doing along the way. There were no nasty surprises just a nice big payment from HMRC funding that we weren't even aware existed. Bartosz Brodacki guided me quickly and efficiently through the entire claim submission process. I didn't think it could be so simple and, more importantly, fast, the whole process took 2 days and I'm still amazed that everything is already sorted out.
I highly recommend Bartosz!!

I've been searching for someone to support an R&D tax credit claim since March 2023 and have spoken with many firms, who've assumed because I'm not a big boy that my claim would be peanuts and not worth pursuing. They won't even have conversations about the sort of spend I've invested in R&D, and tell me right away the commissions would be too small for them to take on the case. It's been frustrating to say the least. The furthest I've got is a company offering me training to complete the claim myself, but wouldn't respond to chases on getting a date booked in for paid training.
Just over a week ago, I was talking to a friend about this, who told me he'd worked with a guy on his recent claim, and asked if I wanted an introduction. He introduced me via email to Dean Key, who responded immediately and booked in a call. Dean told me about Aston Berry, and asked some questions about the innovation. I shared the narrative from a previous claim, and my most recent tax return. Dean scheduled a meeting a few days later to run through some further questions. He gave me a rough estimate into what he thought the figures looked like, and asked me to pull off some additional spend reports.
A week passed since the introduction email and Dean emailed to ask if I had time to talk. The Aston Berry team had worked it through and had a claim value, all neatly presented with clear and transparent options. Dean talked me through what each of these meant, so I had enough information to make a decision.
My claim has now gone in, and we await HMRC's decision.
I'm so impressed with the service, the understanding and the support Dean has provided. If you're looking at your R&D, I can't recommend them highly enough. They aren't the cheapest, but they actually care, and the time and effort they put in to really understanding the innovation, challenges and R&D journey, without taking up hours of effort on my side is worth every %.
