Repair I paid for was not actually done
The problem with my espresso machine--no longer making hot water or steam--was NOT fixed. I sent it in for diagnostic, received a quote, paid for the repair, and received my "repaired" machine back at home. When I went to use my machine, I found the problem still persisted--still no steam and no hot water. They had me order a descaler from Amazon, then sent me a Breville descaler as well. Did the descaling process as instructed, and lo and behold, still no hot water or steam. This leads me to the conclusion that the repair work actually was not done, despite my paying for it.
Great service! UPS screwed up.
Overall, it was great customer experience. Everyone was super helpful. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the delivery of the replacement product and it was sent back to the warehouse. It was really a problem with UPS’ delivery but it could have been addressed earlier before it was sent back. Anyways, a second one was sent out after I contacted customer support and all is well now!

it took some doing, as at first a simple thing was refused, but then they camme to thier senses. i should have be a yes, from the start. i have many breville products. and in general they are pretty good. but if there is a problem, especially at thier price point, they should bend over backwards to fix it. IMO

Customer support was courteous, knowledgeable and responsive. Understood the cause of specific trouble I was having with the machine’s performance and came through with a solution and a fix. Excellent customer support and product.

Lucy was terrific. He listened to my problem and solved. I was surprised by the companies ability to have a camera that in real time could see what my toaster was doing. Hurrah for Breville.

Espresso Machine Cleaning
I hadn’t expected the rep to walk me through trouble shooting and cleaning my espresso machine, but she did. It’s unusual to find such good customer service. Thank you!
Bread not toasting on the bottom
The issue with my new toaster oven was: the bread was not toasting equally on both sides. When the top side of the bread reached a golden brown, the bottom was light or hardly toasted at all depending on the type of bread I used. I found that Breville's customer service was more helpful than expected. They offered to replace the oven at no cost to me.

I appreciate the callback feature, so I don’t have to sit on hold. The representative, Jean, was responsive and provided a clear ‘what happens next’, which made for a positive and speedy experience.

The support I got today was excellent
The support I got today was excellent. The person took their time to walk me through an issue I was having (which had to do with maintenance, not an equipment defect). She taught me proper maintenance, and by the end of the call, my machine was back in working order! This is probably the best customer support I've had in years.
