I spoke to let you know that the milk squeer and the coffee size had broken down and they had me an hour on the phone making coffee after I verified that it didn't serve, he asked me for my purchase receipt. The machine was a Christmas gift. I got everything. They make me a case. They authorize the change but they don't send me the QR. I'm already for 27 minutes and they tell me that I'm waiting 39. The live chat doesn't work and I'm in UPS. The service is horrible. They spend our valuable time

Great customer service, none of that “blame the customer” gaslighting that many companies engage in. Breville has joined the ranks of Leki poles and Arundel Cycling for some of the best customer service I’ve experienced.

Ordered a machine from Amazon, and came in with the grinder locks broken.
They were kind to me and super helpful…we even FaceTimed so they can see what I was talking about. The part came in a matter of days and it looks great. Amazing customer service from an actual person!! Not a machine
Adversarial Approach is Not Effective
The approach used by your customer service staff is adversarial and exhausting. Having the customer service staff require that the customer drop everything to conduct a video call and demonstrate an issue at strange times is not realistic. Even after I had sent multiple videos of an intermittent issue occurring, the staff would say the issue was "resolved" if wasn't immediately reproduced on a video call.
It is very clear your approach to customer service is to waste time and exhaust the customer with an issue so that you are not obligated to address it.
Your adversarial approach which does permanent harm to your brand image if a customer has to work with your customer service team.
I would never buy another Breville product, not only because the product I purchased is defective, but more so because I know what a massive investment of time it is trying to deal with your customer service staff.

Great integrity
I appreciated the effort given by the breville support team. The replacement piece did not fit my first gen barista express, but I was able to modify the machine to make it fit the new grinder assembly. It was nice to have the option for 20%off a new machine if it did not work. Company integrity is super rare nowadays and it is good to see breville still has it! I will be a lifetime customer as long as they keep it up
