This company are not fit to administer anything never mind a pension pot!!!
This company are not fit to administer any pension fund! I made a claim on my warburtons pension in March 2023 on the grounds of ill health and the fact I will never work again following cancer treatment and major surgery.
The incompetence of this company is beyond belief, they have only now started to assess my claim on the correct grounds late in November! 8 months later!!!
There was no questionnaire to complete for my claim just a verbal request for “some evidence” to support my claim.
They have NEVER called me back when they say they will!
Refuse to give me a quote of my pension pot!
Don’t follow their own complaints procedure!
Don’t record any of their phone calls! Assuming so these cannot be used in evidence against them!!!
Do not invest with this company!
I will be contacting warburtons directly to let them know how their pension is been managed by a company not fit for purpose.
I am still awaiting an outcome to my claim, and still awaiting contact to discuss my official complaint I raised months ago!!!!

This company is completely incompetent and does not care about the people who should be receiving a private pension administered by them,
I sent their form back 7 weeks ago requesting payment of my pension.
I have also sent 2 emails requesting information about when i would start receiving my pension, but so far with no reply

Hymans Robertson administer my personal retirement pension. Ihave not received any pension for over 3 months because of their ridiculously poor administration. I am having to porn my watch to feed myself because having not paid me again on the 6th October they will not do an adhoc pension payment run to ensure I can eat

INEFFICIENCY ON A GRAND SCALE
My first dealings with Hymans Robertson began August 2021. My person experiences between dates August 2021 and December 2022 align with most of the bad experiences as written here. I am not the least bit sorry to write this, but (to give only ONE STAR) is excessive! I can honestly say that throughout the course of my Working Life, I have NEVER encountered a company that cares little regarding their clients. If you went shopping on the High Street, and felt that the service was poor, you go somewhere else! Hymans Robertson are hiding behind the UK Rules / Regulations (all highly complex), which makes it difficult to move to another Pension Provider. If the transfer of your pension was 'easy' they would have no business! So, let us face facts: We are all at 'the wrong end of the candle' to suffer the stress and anxieties that this company creates for the majority of their clients - as listed here. You are very lucky if you get any meaningful reply from them. As an example, a letter was composed by a Staff Member at Hymans Robertson, for despatch (to me). I took note that the Originator of this letter, allowed this to either remain unprinted or this letter sat on his Desk for a time period of 52 days before this was posted! This did not surprise me. I (finally) reached the point of deep frustration, and decided that my only course of action, was to commence the transfer-out of my Pension Funds, placing as much distance from this company as possible. I finally achieved this pension move, at great cost - but (in hindsight) I have completely removed a thorn from my side. Finally, I find it hard to believe that the Ombudsman or FCA would take issue with all of your complaints, but I would strongly advise that you write your complaints to the MD of this abysmal Organisation.

Poor service
This is in relation to the Atos 2019 scheme just so you know. I am literally just trying to upload my scheme decision documents. What an absolute shambles.
You have to wait for an email for a couple of days, call a couple of times to get the email actually sent out. There must be a link sending department I think, because the guy said someone had to check it all worked correctly etc.
I eventually got an email with a link to upload the files which clearly would have been fully tested by the link sending department. Only the upload link isn't a link at all. Tried also in those admittedly very obscure browsers google chrome and firefox, but still no joy.
Then I can't call them again, because now there's nobody available constantly. No phone queue, just "Please call back another time" It's 14:00 on a Wednesday afternoon. Not quite clear how peak that must be, but it feels like an optimal time to me. Kept trying but nope.
Shambolic.
Reply: this isn't the point. I have managed after 17 phone calls, to get my documents uploaded, to get to speak to someone. I have left 5 voicemails. nobody returns the call.
I have finally got my documents uploaded, and had to call several times to get confirmation of receipt because there was nothing automatically generated.
I have no faith my pension will come through as required.
If you think this is anything other than 1* service, please correct me!

Inept ...get your money out asap
Only giving one star because zero is not an option. Taking my pension away from these guys as quickly as I possibly can. Communication is shockingly bad (10 to 15 working days to reply to emails is their standard), but the more I had to deal with them the more I was left with a feeling that they are totally inept... 2 data breaches (one where my forecast and option forms were sent to a completely incorrect address at which I have never lived; the 2nd when they 'lost' my completed options decision form which included my nominated bank account details, despite receiving everything else in my envelope).
I was hoping to start accessing my pension in July, but their completely opaque overlap with Phoenix Life and the company I worked for meant I was given completely the wrong information about how to get option forms and where to send them.... by the time that was sorted out I eventually got an options pack with my valuation calculated for a retirement date of 20 August. I'm writing this on 5th September having just had another row with them on the phone because (magically) they can't find my decision form. Its just too many errors and data breaches to inspire me with any confidence at all that these are the people managing my pension. I was not surprised at all to see that EVERY SINGLE REVIEW by other people on here is also 1 star. Must be some kind of record.

SHOCKING BAD SERVICE
Its 2 days till my 65th birthday and I have yet to receive any information about my pensions. This is despite repeated emails and calls. This is outrageous service!
They asked me to verify my address, which I did, 2 MONTHS AGO!!!
Nothing since, NOTHING!!
Surely this cannot be "in line with the service levels agreed with the Trustees" as it says in their automated response emails.....
HOW CAN THIS COMPANY BE PERMITTED TO OPERATE!?

Incredibly bad experience(s) after my pension was transferred to Hymans to manage.
Abysmal service with their systems and procedures being an absolute disgrace with no information available to access online to any degree.
How and why they are allowed to operate in this manner is a mystery to me and the ongoing fun continues trying to get information at any level.
Highly unrecommended in any shape or form.

Abysmal service. Requested valuation of my pension 2 years ago, it took them months. Two years later, I've requested a repeat valuation and apart from a generic autoresponse email (with no indication of turnaround time), the wait resumes - 5 weeks so far. Have now raised a formal complaint - not that I expect much. How is this company permitted to administer any pension fund? Where is The Pensions Ombudsman? Where is the Secretary of State?

Dreadful service
I just want estimates for my final salary pension. What I am likely to get if I retire at 62 for example. Trying to get details generally on my pension scheme is a very frustrating experience. I notice that Hymans is responding to many complaints, so Hymans if you are listening, can I have an estimate for my final salary pension pay out? Any estimate would be helpful.

I can only mirror existing reviews. Been trying to move my Clark’s pension to my SIPP company since October 2022. Although I seem to be able to speak to people here, generic roadblocks, need more information because they move the goalposts, passed for “internal review” although no one can tell me what they are reviewing, no callbacks, no copying me into communications with my SIPP provider despite my insisting, conflicting information, the list goes on. Coming from a customer service background as I do, this is truly shocking. Scheme trustees, pension ombudsman, and court are my next moves I’m afraid.

I asked to draw my pensions to pay for my wedding that was two years ago and i'm still waiting for my MENCAP payment i have sent numerous forms asking for you to deal with my partner Hazel Frost but you dont answer the phones or emails
Im going to escalate this to the media as I have lost £10k in value whilst waiting for you to ask for 10 copies of my driving license and passport.
Last week portofina have recorded calls where the phone was put down on them .

I have been involved in financial services since 1988 at various roles, but always servicing and development at a corporate level. I have never received such appalling communication or service from a financial service company. If this was the standard I'd be ashamed to be associated with the industry. @Canadalife should seriously consider changing their staff scheme administrator.

No response since 23rd March!
No response to emails, letters and a phone that rings and rings and either doesnt get answered or if you leave a voicemail they never reply! Been trying to contact them about my fathers death/pension and not even an acknowledgement to say they are looking into it. Having to contact anyone about my late fathers death is distressing enough but not respinding to a bereaved family in any form is despicable. I have emailed every email address I can find (including the one they list in all of their very generic/cold replies on all the other reviews!) Speaks volumes that they have such awful reviews!! Shame on Clarks Shoes for using them as a pension administrator and shame on them for disgusting behaviour.

Your escalation meant I received an email requesting more information. Duly sent said information and guess what folks???!!! Not heard a thing since! My father died 2 months ago tomorrow and you cant even give a projected widows pension to my mother. SHAME ON YOU, EVEN BIGGER SHAME ON CLARKS SHOES for making their pensions department redundant and sub contracting out to Hymans Robertson. What a farce.

My affinity water pension
My affinity water pension is managed by Hymans Robertson LLP smd I have to say the response from them is practically non existant. They do not answer the phone or reply to emails. The sooner I can get my pension out the more relieved I will be. The customer experience is poor and I have not felt valued at all.

No Service whatsoever!! Unbelievable!!
I have been waiting for a pension forecast since January this year. I initially had to send 10 different emails and leave approximately 20 answer messages before I eventually got a response. Was told then it would be done. I have now made another 10 plus phone calls and sent as many emails, with no response. All you receive is an answer message asking to leave your details and some will call you back and no one does. A generic email arrives as soon as I send an email saying that its being dealt with, when clearly it is not. I have tried the email address posted on here to contact and its made no difference. Like the previous review I would have left no stars if I could.

Awful customer service. Hymans Robertson do something about the awful service.
Last week I emailed TPA enquires for Hymans. Guess what, still waiting on a response. Customer service is absolutely shocking. Wake up Hymans and please sort out your customer service. Left a message on 9th of May, still waiting to hear back. What's the point having a system to leave messages when you don't call back. I have been contacting this company who are my previous employers administrators regarding my pension. I have completed forms, sent security evidence and still waiting to hear when I will receive my pension. The service is shocking. My rating is 0 unfortunately you cannot select 0 in the rating. You leave messages to receive a call back, no one calls you back. This company does not provide good customer satisfaction at all. They have my money and I am entitled to my pension, they do not care at all. Terrible service Hymans and it is time you done something about this and review feedback to improve the awful service you are providing.

Dreadful, unprofessional service
I echo all of the comments here. I have been trying to get a pension estimate but the service is dreadful. They sent me a covering letter but did not enclose the estimate. I've tried phoning, leaving messages and emailing, and I can't get a response. I'm really concerned about the ability of this company to manage our pensions professionally, and I'm due to start receiving the pension from next January, so judging from others' comments its going to be a battle to try to get it.

Sadly I have nothing positive to say about this company. If it were possible I would give a zero star rating.
Like many other reviewers, I have been trying to start my pension and have still not got anywhere. Four months ago I requested commencement of my pension. I had no replies to any of my many emails, only an automated acknowledgement. No answer to calls to the help line, nor any replies to the voice messages I left. More recently they have answered the phone, but have still not provided the updated quote they promised. (The previous figures they provided were incorrect.) Now escalating through my ex employer.
Next step is the Ombudsman.
