Very disappointing experience
Still no resolution — another failed collection
I have already raised a formal complaint with Waste Managed regarding repeated missed collections, poor communication and being charged for a service that has not been provided reliably.
Since raising that complaint, another collection that was specifically arranged has also failed to take place.
I have now given them a further 7 days to collect the outstanding waste and resolve the billing issue. I do not believe I should be charged for collections that have not happened, nor should I be penalised with substantial cancellation fees when the reason I want to leave is because the service has repeatedly failed.
At this stage, my main concern is simply getting the waste collected, having the incorrect charges dealt with and receiving a fair resolution.
Very disappointing experience so far.

Extremely disappointing experience with Waste Managed.
We have been attempting to resolve a straightforward contract-termination dispute and have provided a detailed explanation, the relevant contractual wording and the complete correspondence history. After getting nowhere with the Retentions Team, we followed their instructions and escalated the matter formally to both Customer Services and their Complaints Team.
Since then, we have received no acknowledgement and no response whatsoever—just complete radio silence.
Their own complaints procedure states that customers should be contacted within 24 hours, yet nobody has contacted us. Regardless of the eventual outcome of the contractual dispute, simply ignoring a business customer who is actively trying to resolve matters properly is unacceptable.
Communication was readily available while they wanted our business, but obtaining a meaningful response when trying to leave has been a very different experience. Based on the service received so far, I could not recommend Waste Managed.

I would strongly recommend thinking twice before signing a contract with Waste Managed.
I started a contract with them last year, and since then they have only collected my waste once. Despite reporting the issue, nothing was properly resolved.
I contacted them to cancel my contract. Instead of simply processing the cancellation, I was offered a change of supplier. When I made it clear that I wanted to cancel, I was told I would have to pay £250 + VAT, plus £75 for collection.
I also asked to speak to a manager, but I was told there was no manager available to speak with me.
What is even more concerning is that the price I originally agreed to at the beginning of the contract has now almost doubled.
Based on my experience, I am extremely disappointed with the service, communication and cancellation process. I would advise other businesses to carefully check the contract, collection arrangements and cancellation charges before signing up.
Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Would give zero stars if I could!! They're happy to take money off small businesses but then don't bother to do the job!! Four times they've claimed they've come and emptied the bins and they're still full.
Don't bother setting up a contract with these cowboys they will take your money, do nothing for it and then renew your contract without consent.
