Great service from the guys at Merchant city music in Glasgow. They really were very knowledgeable about the guitars and were still giving me different ones to try out even though there was only a few minutes until they were closing. I ended up buying a fantastic Ibanez rg565 in electric blue and have been on it everyday since I bought it. They had the best price on this guitar as well when I checked around, so great service and prices. Would recommend if you are looking for a new guitar.

I collect Michael Kelly guitars, and have bought 3 guitars now. Merchant City Music always use DPD for delivery, and every one is perfectly packaged and delivered undamaged. Cannot fault them. Recommend 100%.

Hassle free online purchase, guitar was the best price on the Internet. I needed a 2nd guitar and the Jet350 was my choice, definitely not a budget instrument but a well made guitar that suited my budget. Bought Monday and arrived Tuesday. Set up with my preferred strings as well. Called the shop and they were very accommodating and happy to help. The guitar arrived well packaged and played faultless out of the box. My first experience with Merchant City Music but definitely not my last.

After spending a long time on line looking for my prefect acoustic guitar I contacted Merchant City Music. After a number of messages and pictures I finally picked my guitar. It has to be noted that the delivery was outstanding. However, the guitar was not to my high standards. More emails and pictures followed and the guitar was returned and a different one sent. Yet another excellent delivery. This time the guitar did float my boat, very well made and plays perfectly.
The staff were so, so helpful and spent as much time with me as I needed, without pressure of purchase. Their knowledge of the guitars is excellent. I’ve a feeling I’ll be buying from them again.

Several of the big retailers promise the guitar will be set up when you receive it. In the past I had never found this to be true - sometimes with the string wrap still on from the factory. I came to guitar.co.uk after a search for a budget guitar and ordered through them. The guitar came set up absolutely beautifully. Amazing playing experience and I’m delighted. Even on a very budget guitar, the service has been excellent. Thanks guys.

Searched for a specific guitar online and was delighted to find Merchant City Music were a dealer for Michael Kelly Guitars. The price was good and the delivery service prompt. The guitar appears to have been set up prior to delivery which is a massive plus for me. I would definitely buy again from Merchant City Music.

I bought an amp from Merchant City music in December. I had some issues with the delivery pattern. I had a call from Richard, and I explained the issue. They resolved the issue, got the amp returned to them, and sent me another amp with a different courier before the orgibal had arrived back. Richard kept an eye on the courier and made sure I knew what was happening at all times. In these days of lower customer service, the service I had was fantastic. I look forward to buying from them again.
