Good communication and delivery timescale

Arrived in store within the timescale indicated. Good that I could click & collect, try on in store and return anything that wasn't suitable whilst I was there. Just one trip. Only issue was that I tried to cancel one item before it was dispatched, but there was no option to cancel.

Waste of time

Placed an order 5//9/22 click and collect. At the time of ordering a collection date of 9/9 after 12 was confirmed. I checked for updates on 8/9, it showed as delivery to store no later than 8/9. I called in store 9/9 when I was in The Trafford Centre, in case it has been delivered to store and not scanned. The member of staff was very helpful and checked, but it hadn’t arrived, he said it should arrive in the next few days. Unfortunately, that is no use to me as I needed the dress for today. I said I assume when it arrives they will just send it back after the holding period and refund me. He wasn’t really sure of the process. I would not have placed the order if the delivery date had been after 10/11. Next can get their dates correct for collection so River Island should be able to do the same.

Good service from LTS, Yodel let them down

Bought a dress, as it was on sale there was only size 10 left. I'm usually size 10 or 12, took a chance on size 10 and it's just right, size 12 would have been too big. I had struggled to find knee length dresses for my holiday, seem to be mainly midi or mini in other stores. Fast dispatch.
Yodel let them down though, maybe they should use DPD as the customer is paying for a poor delivery service. The Yodel app is not fit for purpose. The app showed a delivery date and I waited in, which was inconvenient, but I did not want delivery to be rescheduled. The app was misleading, they had no intention of delivering on that date. It was delivered the following day, again the app was useless on that day too. If you're going to use Yodel at least offer free delivery. No issues with Yodel driver/delivery timescale, but they need to ensure the app gives the correct information.
Also, most retailers offer free delivery subject to a minimum spend, disappointing that LTS don't.

No point having a tracker app

Checked tracker app this morning. 8.22 parcel is being loaded. 8.27 your parcel is on the way but the driver has experienced a short delay, check back for updates. How has the driver managed to be delayed within a 5 minute timescale? There have been no further updates to the tracker app. It's now 16.06, I have waited in all day. It says estimated delivery today, so may have waited in and it will not arrive today. Waste of time saying you can track your parcel as you can't. Also, same message on the app all day re 'we're sorry, all our operators are busy, try again in a few minutes'. As the retailer charges for delivery I think they should use a more reliable courier service.

Farnworth store

Farnworth store - I initially rang with a stock query, Lyndsey checked whether they had the item in any of the stores. We visited the store later in the day and Lyndsey was great, she gave sound advice on the best scooter to meet my dad’s needs. She showed me how to take the scooter apart and put it back together. She also helped me load it into my car. Lyndsey was very good with my dad too.
There are disabled parking spaces on the road close to the shop, which was very helpful.

Driving Miss Daisy Super Car Experience!!

This was a gift from friends, which was very nice of them. However, when booking there are ‘extras’ you need to pay for. When you buy someone a gift experience you do not expect them to have to pay towards that gift. Extra to book on a weekend, collision damage waiver, some cars incur an extra charge etc.

A lot of waiting around, despite booking it was an hour before the first car was available. Also a lot depended on which instructor you got. As someone else mentioned in some cases you were expected to drive pretty slow. Not much of an experience of driving a super car! Collision damage waiver a bit of a rip off seeing as you could only drive slow. As the car was closely controlled by the instructor with dual controls there wasn’t much of a risk.

Probably a better experience to be a passenger in a super car with a professional driver. That would be a true experience of how these cars can perform.

In regards to our Collision Damage Waiver, we are glad to hear that it was not necessary for it to be used on the day. Our customers have fed back that having the waiver in place has allowed them to fully drive and enjoy the vehicles with peace of mind, knowing that should anything go wrong, they would not have the liability to cover the excess in the event of any damage. We want all our customers to delight in the experience of driving these magnificent supercars without having any thoughts of how they themselves would cover the costs of repairing what are, in reality, very expensive supercars.

We are proud to offer some amazing extras & upgrades to enhance experience days particular to each customer’s requirements. This is by popular demand from our customers who wish to tailor their day for maximum enjoyment - understandably all customers are different and not everyone chooses to take advantage of these additional items so by design we ensure that these extras are completely optional – the choice is always the customer’s.

All our instructors are trained to a high standard and do have to adapt to each customer they have with them. Safety for all our customers is a top priority when handling very powerful cars in a track environment and as we are sure you can appreciate, instructors ensure no one is placed in jeopardy whilst out on track as these vehicles can be easily spun. All the directions ‘in car’ given on the day are based upon our professional instructor’s assessment of the driver’s ability at the time - taking into consideration such things as track conditions, other vehicles out on circuit along with the driver’s performance and response to instruction.

From time to time, the venue does get busy and we always endeavour customers are not waiting to long between their drives, and we are sincerely sorry you had to wait for a long time.

Fast delivery, but delivery cost quite high

Fast delivery, but delivery charge quite high. Would prefer two cost options for delivery, cheaper if you don't required fast delivery.
Fortunately, item I bought was reduced from original price, which balanced this out a little. Item received good quality.

More people needed on checkouts rather than just self-service

I visited the Swinton store today to return an item. OMG, queued for over 10 minutes. Only one member of staff on the checkout, poor woman was being worked very hard. There were 3 other members of staff around, who I'm sure could have jumped on a checkout. One member of staff was just asking people in the queue if they were paying by card and directing them to self-service. Unfortunately, most people in the queue said they were not paying by card and as I was returning an item I had no choice but to queue. I would have gone back another time if it wasn't for the restrictive 14 day return period. Poor customer service.

Positive experience

It was easy to get a quote online and take out the policy. There is a more limited market for properties that will be left unoccupied, this seemed the best of the ones that I looked at.

Higher prices in Express stores!

They have introduced 2 prices for some products, the lower price applies if you scan a Clubcard. I’m not keen on this idea, however, as this is the way they are currently operating it should be across all stores. It does not seem to apply in Tesco Express stores. They advertised Easter eggs at £2 each with a Clubcard, but they are £3 in Tesco Express stores. Poor!

Might as well book direct with the accommodation provider

Might as well book direct, you do not get any extra protection by booking through Booking.com.
I raised a complaint after an unacceptable stay at the accommodation that I booked with them. They asked me to send photos, which I did. I did not hear back from them. Emailed the CEO, he passed it to customer services. I received a phone call and apology, but they did not resolve the issue. The person who rang compared mediating with the accommodation to mediating between her children! She said she doesn’t always manage to resolve the situation. Quite an unprofessional approach really. She also said if you don’t call them whilst still at the property it is hearsay. Worryingly she doesn’t know the difference between hearsay and fact! The accommodation provider accepted that the issues had arisen. I had also provided photos of the filthy shower cubicle and black mould. It would have been hearsay if I was telling her that someone had told me that there were issues with this accommodation!

Reasonable prices, postage slightly higher than some competitors. Need to order two or three items to make it worth the postage. Quick delivery.

Excellent picture and service

Excellent picture and service. I contacted Kate before ordering as we had quite a tight deadline. She replied very quickly saying she would try her best to get it to us in time. I didn't hesitate to order and asked for a variation to one of the pictures on the website. Kate was happy to accommodate my request.
The picture arrived a few days before the date I had specified. We are very happy with the painting.

Need to sort their website out!

Placed an order for a jacket on 16/8/20, received email confirmation. The next morning I received an email saying they had cancelled the order and issued a partial refund! They had not refunded the postage. I had to ring them and was told this would now be done manually. They said the item was out of stock and the website was not always up to date.
I then went back on the website and the item was still showing as in stock. Surely once the initial error was discovered they should have updated the website. A waste of time having a website that is not up-to-date.

Poor Customer Service, Trafford Park Manchester

Update added at end of review re customer service support to try and resolve the issue.

I placed an order for an essential item on eBay. I was advised the item was available for collection the following day, which was incorrect as they are not open at weekend. I received a phone call from the Trafford Park branch on the Monday. They said the item would not be available for collection for a few days. I advised that this was not a problem as long as it would be available that week. I was advised that it would be a few days and I would be advised when it was available for collection. Following receipt of confirmation it was ready for collection, I drove to the store.

When I arrived there were two men stood outside smoking, one was totally blocking the door. I stopped a few metres away. One of them nodded to the other, he looked at me and say have you got essential worker ID. I assumed he meant NHS. I advised him that I didn’t, but hadn’t been advised that I needed it. He said it’s on their website, I didn’t use their website as I ordered from eBay. I told him I had not been advised of this on my collection confirmation, or when a member of staff spoke to me. The instruction was just to produce the email. He was very unhelpful, it appeared that he didn’t like his smoking break being interrupted. He should not have been so close to the doorway smoking anyway, Dr Hilary has said the virus can be spread by someone inhaling smoke exhaled by an infected person. Expecting people to walk through your smoke cloud isn’t good practice even when we are not experience a pandemic!! I wouldn’t have been willing to get that close.

I told him that I could have asked my husband to collect if I had been notified of this, he is an NHS worker. If he had wanted to be helpful he could have asked me to get him to send a copy of his ID by phone, or he could have explained the long list of essential workers they are serving. I later checked this on their website and it is extensive. I would fall within the local government category myself as I provide a statutory service, my team have to provide service for emergencies during the outbreak, I could have produced ID. Local government staff are only just starting to be recognised for their contribution. My son also falls within their essential worker categories.

There was no effort to help, just get back to their smoking break asap. Very poor service and appalling practice of social distancing.

Have contacted them via eBay for a refund, hopefully that will be sorted quickly.

Update
I would add that Andrea from customer support has since contacted me to discuss my experience. She was helpful and says she will follow up on the issues raised, advising that it is not the level of customer service eurocarparts expect. She was not able to provide the item I ordered, but she did process and refund and send a car cleaning kit as a gesture of goodwill.

Easy to order

Easy to order on website. Was advised delivery would be Monday, bit didn't arrive until Tuesday. Not an issue on this occasion, but communication re this would have been useful, was not able to track the item.
