Great customer service.
I called today to switch between Nectr plans and had a very smooth experience. Allen, the rep who assisted me, was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He sorted out what I needed in just a couple of minutes, making the experience quick and painless.

Allen is a breath of fresh air
Allen was a breath of fresh air! I sent a message to Nectr requesting a cancellation of my account (due to moving to another's place with pre-existing internet) and a metre reading of the existing residence, both with different dates. After 15 minutes of having sent the message, he gave me a call, and within 6 minutes he had actioned both of my requests and sent me an email confirming everything. He was polite, efficient and capable. This is the second time I've had the pleasure of receiving Allen's customer service, and only enforces the benefits of Nectr.

Poor service
The service I have received from Nectr is way below acceptable. Biggest regret signing up with them for our solar installation. The service beyond signing up has been nothing but low. We recently had issue with our solar system not working, whilst still contracted with Nectr and they continued to defer my to manufactures of panels and inventors advising they only supply power service. News to me given they supply my solar and I expected whilst still contracted to them they are responsible for my service.
Request for compensation of very high bill declined without any call just email.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
All I would like is someone to call me back and help resolve my issue.

they are so expensive they said they were the cheapest around don't get me wrong they were good to begin with now there charging me over $700 a month where AGL is predicting around $600 for 3 month so much for being the cheapest my opinion they are one of the dearest electricity company's around if your with them please shop around it only came to my attention because I was on the phone with my sister and it came up I put a call into AGL that day all i know is it should be a lot cheaper only time will tell

Absolutely joke of an electricity retailer. Literally 1 month after signing up the prices were hiked up and are no longer competitive. I’m guessing they offer people a competitive to encourage sign up then hike the fees, praying on the consumers who don’t check their emails or can be bothered to switch retailers again. Avoid at all costs

Would not touch them with a barge pole!
One of the worst experiences with a service provider! First they changed figures of an interest free loan by changing times, then they continued to take my money even after they confirmed that the loan was fully paid. When I questioned it, they simply ignored my emails and continued to take my money!

A once great power company that dropped the ball
For 3 years Nectr did a wonderful job, but then broke their app, dismantled their VPP, and removed my discounts without nary an email or an explanation.
They then ignored my emails for weeks, trapped my battery in their now dismantled VPP, refusing to remove it or reply to emails until I got my battery company to do it which took them 30 minutes.
Good riddance.

This gives me energy
I was fortunate to have this product sent out to me for review and I’m pleasantly surprised by how it works. I feel so much energized throughout the day when I’m working. I don’t feel sluggish when I feel wake up in the morning and when I commute to work. I highly recommend checking out this product it’s great.

Was informed that I could not sign up…
Was informed that I could not sign up due to not meeting their credit requirements. You obviously need to be mortgaged up to the hilt and have frequently applied for credit to get a good rating by the company they use. Ridiculous!! You also can only sign up online and with either direct debit or credit card payment.

I tried to switch my electricity provider to Nectr, filledout the application and submitted. After 2 days I get SMS saying application has been declined due to not meeting credit requirement. I did not ask for 15 mill loan, but electricity at my home normally I pay 120-150 per month, WOW. I did not know Nectr is a kind of bank, super, better to keep away from these guys, there should be a catch. Nice experiance , why did I applied, my BAD!

Impossible to contact over 24/7 chat and email
Have been trying to get someone to reply via email and chat for 9 days due to personal reasons of hardship. No reply! Not a single one! And on Saturday night I get a message saying my power is being disconnected, and I tried to call the number provided and they are not open on weekends! Absolute joke to get anyone to talk to me.

Great experience from the moment Luke at Nectr came out to look over the requirements to the install . All managed extremely well and communication was on point . I knew what was happening when and how, paper works was seem less . System installed and working well . Great job

I'm wondering what a controlled load is on my account. I was told by Nectr that it has something to do with the phase you're on. It's a scam and it's how the system works. Australia the lucky country with the most expensive homes, cars, real estate and power bills in the world.

Organized an appointment for a site…
Organized an appointment for a site visit with for a solar battery, only for the rep to cancel the appointment, reschedule and then never show up. Two days after the no show I still haven’t received any contact. Judging by my experience and a lot of other negative reviews it was probably for the best.

Friendly, knowledgeable, expensive
The person who spoke with me on the phone was friendly enough.
But when I described my situation was condescending and told me that my situation did not make sense.
After making a booking to send a person out, the time that was booked was not the same as what was discussed on the phone.
After meeting the friendly people at nectr it became apparent that their after rebate pricing on like for like systems was significantly more expensive. (21k vs 8k)
I wish them the best in this current competitive market.

Received a threatening letter from them. I don't know them.
Received a letter threatening to disconnect me. I've never heard of them. My electricity account is with someone else. Made a formal complaint to EWOQ about their standover tactics.

We have solar and have just realized…
We have solar and have just realized after noticing our power bills were getting higher that they have dropped our solar rebate to 0. So they are happy to take it which we generate more than what we use most days by double. When looking back on our bills as they were direct debit so didn't really notice until they went up and up they changed the rebate to 0 July last year. We are now looking around for a new provider that doesn't cheat their customers.
