Easy to use and very helpful advisor- great customer service

Polly was so helpful and showed a genuine care and interest in how Reggie (my cat) was doing following his accident. It’s quite a traumatic thing to go through without all the admin that follows, so when you are shown genuine care from an agent it makes a huge difference. You could tell she is an animal lover just from our phone conversation.
She was also really helpful in terms of the administrative side of things - she talked me through what was going to happen clearly and explained that if I needed any more help to just call back. Thank you polly!

Quick response and resolution to my existing policy details

This company also trades as NOW Pet Insurance. Be warned …..they do not pay out for claims. I have learnt the hard way from my dreadful experience with NOW Pets. I have one complaint logged with the Ombudsman and am about to log a second due to legitimate claims being declined.

Put in a claim for a policy that had a £200 excess. The total vet bill came to £280 for out of hours vet visit and some basic medicine. NowPet refused to pay out claiming the condition was pre-existing, yet our pet was never fully diagnosed with a condition. Only assumptions were made. NowPet's policy isn't worth the paper its written on. To add insult, the person who called me to deliver the news was unprofessional and uncaring. Would happily go elsewhere and cancelled my policy immediately.

I contacted NOW Pet Insurance to ask about some physio treatments for my dog. I was helped by Ellie who was very good. She answered my questions to the best of her ability as I realised I would need to make a claim for the yes or no answer I was looking for. But I was given good answers and reassurance that I feel was appropriate. I pay a lot a month, £219 but I feel I get my monies worth with no quibbles at all from NOW.

Good customer service, I haven’t made a claim yet but I wanted them to talk me through my renewal quote and policy to make sure everything was covered for my frenchie in case I need to make a claim in the next year. I spoke to Charlotte who was friendly and helpful and reassured me that if the worst happens I am insured correctly. This review could change if I do have issues and god forbid, if I do need to claim.
