I did not place my order directly with Obaby.

I ordered a wardrobe from Oliver’s Baby Care on 22 January and was repeatedly told by them to contact Obaby regarding delivery.

When I contacted Obaby, I was initially told they had the order and that delivery should be by Friday. When I called again, I was then told they had no information about the order at all.

I was also advised by Obaby to cancel my order with Oliver’s Baby Care and re-order directly with them, which was not a realistic or acceptable solution after weeks of waiting.

This placed the responsibility on me to resolve an issue between two companies I did not choose to contract with. The information provided was factual inconsistent and unhelpful, leaving no clarity on whether the order existed or would ever be delivered.

The baby has now been born and the nursery remains incomplete due to the lack of clear communication and accountability.

I would advise others to be cautious where responsibility between retailer and supplier is unclear and customers are directed elsewhere to resolve issues.

My husband and I visited Olivers Babycare back in November as it was the only store near us that stocked Sliver Cross plus loads of other brands. We did not make an appointment as it was a Monday afternoon, we walked in and were greeted by Liz who was amazing! She showed us the range we were after and showed us how it all worked as well as other brands in store to make sure we were choosing the right one for us. She didn’t push us into purchasing anything but was patient with us while we had questions etc about the travel system. She knew all the products so well and was so friendly! We ended up choosing the Cove range from Sliver Cross as well as a 3 piece furniture set which we could also view in store.
We received our order which was delivered to our house before Christmas which was super quick.
The travel system is perfect and we are so pleased with it! The furniture set was great but some of the cot pieces were damaged and incorrect so we contacted Olivers Babycare to hopefully get this sorted. Emma was super apologetic and told us that she would get this solved and looked into. Emma kept us in the loop while she tried to solve this issue with Sliver Cross and a week later we received one of the spare parts but were still missing two parts. Again we went back to Emma who was on the case and we then got the missing parts not long after that. Emma has also been amazing and we would definitely recommend this store to family/friends. ☺️

Paid for next working day delivery, ordered Friday, came Tuesday. The narrow stair gate we ordered isn’t very safe at all. Doesn’t lock properly. Take a while to get it to latch and stay. Little one managed to pull it open whilst standing against it as the latch isn’t safe at all. We ordered the Callowesse Kuvasz Narrow Stair Gate. Would not recommend.

This is my second purchase from this company and it was no different to my last purchase back in January 2023, I found the service provided was excellent in every way, from placing the order on their website at midday on Wednesday through to the delivery which arrived at midday on Friday. IBaby gate is good quality & fits perfectly. Ordered for narrow baby room door. Delivered quickly with no issues & really good price. Easy to install & can lock it open or swings shut behind you. The lock is a dual mechanism so squeeze underneath as you push button on top which is really good but if you have a smarty pants child i suppose its not very difficult to do as it doesnt take alot of strength to do if your child figures it out.

First time I have used Oliver’s BabyCare and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish.
Thought I would try and use a localish business instead of Amazon etc. who were actually dearer and chose to collect from their lovely store north of Peterborough.
Outstanding service including a call to say my order was ready for collecting.
