the planning for the tour was first class, excellent guides, the whole trip was planned to perfection.

We've just completed the Ultimate japan tour with Emporor tours and can definately recommend the trip. Ling at Emporor was extremely helpful and supportive and we plan to go with Emporor again this summer to Vietnam and Cambodia.
The Japan trip is excellent covering every highlight you'd expect on a tour of such a great country. Our favourites were Mt Fji, Kyoto, the bullet train and Hiroshima but there is so much in the itinerary, just too much to mention. A couple of things which may be helpful if you are thinking about this trip: its cheaper than I thought when you step out of the hotels. Decent lunch for £10 per head and dinner £15/20 including drinks. We went 4 star hotels which were excellent and upgraded to premium economy flights which was very beneficial as the flights are very long. It is quite full on. Quite a bit of walking and travelling so be prepared for that. Certain days are quite demanding.
All in all a superb experience. Lots of good memories and new friends made along the way. Thank you Emporor for your organisation and help.

The week's tour was excellently organised. It was extremely enjoyable, well arranged and we could not have achieved anywhere near as much if we had organised it ourselves. This was our first time in Japan.

The first guide, Ms Ibuku, we had was exceptional (Nagasaki & Kyoto). She was a very pleasant person, went well beyond the call of duty and was a tremendous help. She even stayed on for the first meal in the amazing Japanese Yoshi-ima Ryokan hotel (Kyoto) to explain what everything was etc. I would really like to say how good she was and how pleasurable it was to be taken around by her. The visits / gardens chosen were also great, especially the museum / house in Nagasaki, where our old friend was brought up.

The first hotel we stayed at in Nagasaki was very good and the 2nd, Japanese Ryokan hotel, Kyoto, was exceptional and very enjoyable. I would fully recommend this hotel and the fact that we were booked into the hotel by Emperor tours.

The 2nd guide, Ms Himeka, (Tokyo) was also good and helped us with the only real issue of the trip which was because the hotel had reduced their advertised shuttles to the airport for the morning departure. This does not reflect on Emperor tours at all (or was their fault), more the fact that large hotels, especially after COVID do not live up to their advertised services .. and don't even provide an early breakfast now! This all presented no problem but might be worth checking on arrival at the hotel. The second guide quickly sorted out the problem (we went and booked a bus shuttle from the nearby bus station). Again, this did not detract from the exceptional trip to Japan.

I would fully recommend using Emperor Tours; their information booklet, their planning/preparation and their guides were invaluable, especially for anyone not speaking Japanese. These guides enabled us to see so much more in a short length of time.

Booked a tour of Japan which we unfortunately had to cancel due to a change in Japans regulations for tourists. Ling had put in a tremendous amount of work coordinating flights and a stopover in Singapore for ourselves and our friends in Western Australia. Despite cancelling the tour she rearranged all our flights and accommodation in Singapore to allow us to still meet with our friends and travel on to Australia and also provided a prompt refund.
I was particularly impressed with how quickly Ling responded to our endless questions and requests, even emailing me back on the weekend.
Thank you so much Ling, hopefully we will be able to rearrange our trip to Japan in the future.

Emperor Tours organised the best holiday we have ever had. The detail of every part was amazing. From getting the itinerary and having the opportunity to discuss and amend with advise from Ling to actually living the holiday was an experience we will never forget. We toured Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Singapore for a month. All our guides and drivers were so knowledgeable and friendly. We can thoroughly recommend Emperor Tours. We have used Emperor Tours before extremely successfully. In this case our third time of using them I had booked a holiday for India. Originally at the start of the issues postponed the holiday. However with the ongoing challenges I asked for our money to be refunded. This was handled brilliantly by Ling very straightforward and prompt.
It must be a challenge for agents these days and it is good to have dealt with one so well.

A long haul trip to an unknown country could be spoiled by wasted time due to lack of knowledge of the area and lack of courage to explore. Our recent trip to India was our second experience of Emperor Tours and we were not disappointed.
Without being intrusive they guided us every step of the way.
Every attention to detail was made which enhanced our overall experience. We would not hesitate to recommend them and will certainly use them again in the future.

We had the most amazing holiday. It was well organised right from the first moment I contacted Emperor Tours. They tailor made precisely the tour we wanted and the quality of the information provided, the accommodation, the guides and the itinerary was second to none. I would thoroughly recommend them for any tour to China.

English speaking guides very knowledgeable, sites visited very interesting, hotels and food on the whole quite good , Would recommend bullet train instead of internal flight between at least one city destination, would recommend this holiday

Everything was meticulously planned, we took the option of a 3 day in extension in
Hong Kong.
The tour itself was amazing, we took in the Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Forbidden City and the Summer Palace with a visit to a jade and silk factory while in the Beijing leg, the tour guide Jill was superb very knowledgable.
We were surprised how personal it was there was only two of us but we had our own driver as well as our guide.
We were taken to the airport for a domestic flight to our next stop

The trip to Xian included an unforgettable trip to the Terracotta Warriors and a trip to the Big Goose Pagoda and a Walk along the ancient city Wall, again we had our own personal guide and driver
The Tang Dynasty Dinner show included a lovely dinner of various dumplings and a wonderful show of dancers, and music.
After our time in Xian we were taken to the airport for our Hong Kong extension
Our time in Hong Kong was mainly our own except for a half day tour which included a short sail around Victoria harbour and a trip up to the Sky Terrace at the Point on Victoria hill which offers some of the most spectacular view of Hong Kong.
If you are looking for an organised tour that specialises then look no further.

We got back from a tour of India and Nepal just recently and it was wonderful,from start to finish. The organisation of all the travel and trips was very smooth.
The hotels were all beautiful, comfortable, clean and amazing food.
All of the local guides were friendly, very informative and looked after us very well. Finding great places for us to eat and making sure we had plenty of water. The itineraries were very full but we wouldn’t have wanted to miss anything. My highlight was sunrise from the top of Sarangot Hill, watching the light hit the mountains of the Annapurna range. Awesome. Both the Nepalese and Indian people are so friendly. Truely worthwhile visiting these amazing countries. Thank you Emperor tours 👍😃

A special retirement holiday tour of China, with extended Hong Kong stay followed by a rest in Thailand - five weeks in all. One or two minor hiccoughs resolved perfectly by Ling. Bullet train, River cruise, Internal flights - outstanding guides and drivers with very good hotels. Not only would we recommend Emperor Tours to others, but will choose them again for our next major holiday.

We were looking to visit China and Hong Kong, we have visited many places all over the world and generally avoid using travel agents etc.
As we new there would be an issue with the language we thought it best to use a tour company that would supply guides.

We chose Emperor tours as I had read some good reviews, my very first call to them put me at ease straight away as they were very professional seemed well informed and put us at ease straight away.

All stages from paying the deposit and throughout the holiday ran like clockwork, no issue with flights, guides & drivers were always there to meet us, very knowledgable guides that were English speaking and a good standard of accomodation throughout.

It is advised that groups are kept small, we were lucky, at all our stays in China we had a guide to ourselves ( we felt like celebrities). In Hong Kong we were looked after by Greyline tours, again all pick ups and drop offs were bang on time, the half day tour to Hong Kong island had a small group and again the guide was excellent.
A fantastic time was had throughout the tour as we were able to relax knowing that everything was so well organised.
We would have no hesitation recomending Emperor tours to anybody.

An unforgettable trip through serene and beautiful Laos! Emperor tours organised a tailor made tour for us with guides which covered all our requests for historic sites, breathtaking mountain scenery, village walks and bustling markets, silk weaving, and river trips on the Mekong to ancient caves. The choice of hotels was excellent, two stunning river locations in Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang with beautiful gardens, rooms with river views and friendly helpful staff. We very much enjoyed our guides and full marks to the driver for skilful navigation on twisting mountain roads! This is our third trip with Emperor tours in East Asia and their local knowledge, organisation and quality of service is outstanding. We highly recommend them and will be doing another soon! Everything was very well planned.Our driver was superb and his lack of english did not matter as guides were arranged in each place.the tour company in India delegated to provide support kept in regular contact and we were particularly impressed when we left a tablet in one hotel and they organised a courier and local bus to deliver it to our next destination 175 km away.
Hotels were varied in style , either charming or elegant or both.
Tour featured many temples,but trip on houseboat was our highlight.

The tour was tailored around our requirements and we really enjoyed the activities we did. Guides were there as we arrived and that took a lot of worry away and the couple of hiccups that did occur were sorted out by Richard straight away

Had an amazing holiday travelling around Rajasthan in India recently. Emperor Tours did not let us down. Planning from beginning to end was amazing. Tour guides, drivers, and everyone involved in getting us to and from our next destination were absolutely brilliant. So many people all to arrange and make sure that we were where we were supposed to be and on time. Didn't want to come home. I can't recommend them enough. Our tour was arranged around areas we wanted to visit and we had such a brilliant time.
