This was a 3-week bespoke tour of Rajasthan. The hotels were uniformly excellent, the car and driver were very good indeed and the locations we visited were visually stunning and fascinating for their history. A particular highlight was the Camel Fair at Pushkar.

We visited China with Emperor tours and cannot praise them enough everything was excellent and it was a holiday of a lifetime.

With the intention of visiting China, I researched many tour companies in November 2016 for a tour in October 2017, this month being one of the more recommended, especially after the first week which is a Chinese holiday. I took many factors into consideration namely cost, length of tour, places visited, the attractions in those places, accommodation and most important of all, the reputation of the company, based mainly on travellers' reviews. Based on these criteria, I selected Emperor Tours and what an informed choice, I made!

I chose the Luxury Tour, 21 days including travel.

From start to finish this company produced a superb itinerary, informative guidance, assistance with visa applications and a tour which ran like clockwork. Richard and Ling organised the lot including bespoke flights to and from China. I will not go into the tour itself unless any reader wants to know more, as it would take me a significant amount of time to put it in writing - suffice to say 21days and circa 3000 photographs later my wife and I have had the most uplifting experience/ adventure and Emperor Tours supported by their guides/drivers score 5 stars + . I cannot recommend this company highly enough, go for it!😎

Scenic China
We did the Scenic China tour in August. I have to say it was one of the best holidays we had. Initially we were unsure of booking with Emperor Tours because we had never heard of them. However, they put us at ease from the beginning with very helpful information. We particularly appreciated the help given with sorting out our Chinese visas. The sights we saw, the people we met and the guides made our 2 weeks in China memorable. I could describe to you the sights but China can only be experienced and I just wanted to say that they were the best company for us to discover China with. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday rich with memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Great Trip!
We just returned from the Legendary Yangtze Cruise tour with Emperor Tours and had an amazing time. The whole trip was extremely well organised. All the guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Hotels were well located and generally of good standard. We visited so many unforgettable historical sites, our personal favourites are the Three Gorges, pandas, Li River, Terracotta Warriors, and of course the Great Wall. We definitely recommend them to anyone who is considering a holiday to China!

The entire holiday was fully organised and operated like clockwork. All we had to do was appear at the designated location at the allotted time. All of the guides were first class knew their subject well and their English was extremely good. They took great care of us we had nothing to worry about. Emperor Tours are excellent organisation.

Excellent tour - we were well looked after from initial enquiries and throughout our Grand Emperor Tour. The guides, hotels all worked out very well;The itinerary differed from the order on the website, but we covered everything that was promised

We booked the China tours for 12 days, the itenary looked great and a tight schedule. Emperor Tours looked the best price for family of four adults. Spoke to Ling who was very helpful and her friendly nature ,and no hard sell made us go for the company. We booked with only two weeks to depart and she guaranteed us the Chinese visa would be sorted, unfortunately for us there was a problem when two of the visas were declined by the Chinese embassy with no clue as to why. This changed our dream holiday to a stress one , and after resubmitting them again with only 1 day to spare on the Friday and departing on the Monday, we had no opportunity to review the itenary and change anything on there . We felt that although Ling had tried her best, with that short timescale to depart she should have advised us to delay the holiday to allow for the eventuality rather than except our money for the holiday. The holiday itenary was tight and busy , we could not complaint about all the visits we made to the different historical places. Every day was busy from morning to evening. Our biggest complaint was the quality of the tour guides in each the four cities we visited, the first two cities were fine but in Guilin and Shanghai the tour guide were less knowledgeable , and lacked any interest in us as their visitors . The old gentlemen in Shanghai was really not up to the job, but we only had him for two days but even in those days we had an incident where he was totally unplanned after our visit to the acrobatic show. The show was at 7.30 pm and finished around 9.30 and the driver had finished for the evening and dropped us and guide at our hotel but our evening meal which was included in the package had not taken place . Most restaurants appear to be closed , and the guide was totally lost in terms of where we were going to eat that evening. With no driver , we walked from our hotel for 45 minutes to look for any reasonable restaurant or place to eat , the guide looked stressed and sweating. Around 10.30 pm we finally found a place to eat which was reasonable and finished late around after 11.30 when we walked back to our hotel . We just felt that this old guide was not really up to the job. We would ask Emperor Tours to review the quality of the tour guides in each city as they use other companies to provide this service in China . We did not take the matter up with Emperor Tours as it had been a stressful tour before we departed and tiring after we came back and busy with our personal work. We were happy with all the places we saw , really interesting with history . The inclusive food was great , the show , foot message , tours were fantastic but no time for relaxing. We got an e-mail twice fron trust pilot for feedback , so finally felt obliged to give feedback . Ling was very helpful and they need to review the schedule and quality of local tour guides, too much was packed in short time to relax.

When we arrived in Beijing we were not met by the guide but by the taxi driver who could not speak English which was not very welcoming for our first time in China.
The first guide was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
The first hotel was acceptable.
The food in the hotel was acceptable.
All the food organised by Emperor Tours for lunches and dinners during whole trip in the various different locations were totally unacceptable. We were served the cheapest meals, haphazardly, rice would arrive cold and then another dish would arrive 10 minutes later, the majority of the food was inedible we had to go out again ourselves and pay for another meal in a decent restaurant. This really ruined the trip for everyone.
The second guide was the best she was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and good fun.
The Second hotel was acceptable.
The Third Hotel was the best and was very good.
The third guide was good but could have been a bit more relaxed.
The fourth hotel in Shanghai was not acceptable, poor service, unfriendly unhelpful staff, rooms were worn out, out dated, we checked the breakfast times with the hotel staff and were given the wrong times and missed the breakfast (the standard of breakfast was not acceptable) and when we complained they were extremely unhelpful.
The last guide was disinterested, unfriendly and unhelpful.
I paid a lot of money for this trip and do not feel that I received value for money and think I should be given recompensed the money for all the meals I had to pay for myself.

Saw some really great things, but found the whole trip rushed with no time for any relaxation. Guides were really good and helpful, were taken to factory outlets that we didn't want, nothing of this was stated in the brochure that the Chinese government want visitors to go to these, out of the hotels early morning, at first thought it was to get ahead of the queues at the sites but no it was to be taken to factory shops to be hassled to buy their product, very aggressive sales people.
Lots of delayed flights which but the guides under pressure to make sure we saw everything that was stated for the tour, very tiring - up early and to bed late, limited time to see the city areas on your own.

We were very happy with our tour of Myanmar. All the travel arrangements went like clockwork, and our guide was excellent.

What can I say?fantastic, amazing, wonderful, all of those and more we arrived home last Tuesday after a wonderful China experience, before we left Ling organised everything for us perfectly. We arrived and at each destination our guide was there to meet us and again had everything organised to perfection we had nothing to do except enjoy. Emperor Tours could not have added another moment to this tour. Thank you for the holiday of a lifetime.

Richard (EmperorTours) was a huge help. Easia , their partners in Burma, were excellent. We had a superb guide, who stayed with us for 14 days and traveled everywhere with us. His name is Than Zaw. He is vastly knowledgeable about his country and we were very fortunate to have him with us. Ingle lake was probably the highlight of our trip and we would have been happy to have spent more time there. Mandalay appeared to be a huge mess but had, obviously, interesting places and businesses to see.
I wish that I had read more about the country before our trip so really recommend books such as "Under the Dragon" by Rory Maclean and "Twilight over Burma" as well as U Thant's book. Magical country with wonderful people. Our tour was over too soon. All the hotels were excellent with perhaps a question mark over Aureum Palace, Bagan. The food throughout was adequate - but mostly curried lamb/chicken and some fish (always butter fish) so do not expect European menus!

We have just returned from an amazing trip to Vietnam & Cambodia, arranged by Richard at Emperor Tours.

Our tour started in North Vietnam, from where we travelled south. Main destinations included Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoian, Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta. Then onto Siem Reap in Cambodia. 20 days in all, which included 5 days in Hoian to relax, sandwiched in the middle all of the sightseeing.

It was a holiday that included so much. Amazing scenery, fascinating, although sometimes difficult history, really lovely people with so many experiences to share and such lovely food! Just so exhilarating, with every day providing new adventures & excitement.

Emperor Tours were excellent in putting our holiday together; being very flexible with our bespoke requirements. We stayed in 5 star hotels, which were all to a high standard. With 3 internal flights, so 4 different guides looking after us during our stay, there were a lot of arrangements to synchronise. But synchronise they did! There was always a cheery guide to meet us with absolute punctuality. Indeed, the guides without exception were brilliant and extremely informative.

So many thanks to Richard for arranging this holiday. We were certainly treated like Emperors - nothing was too much trouble!

This is our second holiday with this company & we are already thinking of a third!

Everything we asked emperor tours to organise was carried out to a high standard . All the hotels guides and drivers were excellent . Staff on halong bay and the mekong river couldn't have been more helpful or caring . I would thoroughly recommend emperor tours .indeed this is my second trip organised by them .

The detailed itinerary for our first visit to these Indochina countries gave us confidence we would have the time of our lives - and we did for not only did it provide guided tours to the places of interest to us, Halong Bay, Angkor Wat and the Mekong, it also included an introduction to Vietnamese and Cambodian foods like Pho, a bicycle rickshaw ride in Hanoi, and a vigorous foot massage in Siem Reap, activities that we might have been hesitant in trying. The guides were informative and caring, always there when needed and assisted in haggling in the markets. My personal favourites were the tour of the temples in Angkor and the sunset boatride there.

We used Emperor for a group trip to India. they were fantastic with their choice of hotels (some truly incredible) their tour guide, the whole programme and their choice of airlines for the trip.

We made things quite tough for them with different members of the group travelling for different periods and arriving in and out of different airports.

We specifically had some issues with one of the airlines on the return leg of our trip, through no fault of Emperor, but they did their utmost to put things right and made the journey home as pleasant as possible by meeting the cost of a lounge at the airport for us do to the shortcomings of one of the airlines checking in procedures.

The pre holiday package of information was very comprehensive and we were presented with very durable luggage tags.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Richard and his team in tailoring a package for a trip to India. We had an amazing culturally stimulating trip and will certainly go back to India in the future.

This is the first time we have used this company, and they were organising a tailored private tour for a group of us visiting India. Bearing in mind that this was a very full itinerary with a number of non- standard elements we were very pleased with the patience shown in sorting out the final details. The local companies used whilst in India provided excellent service
