Our family has just returned from an absolutely unforgettable trip to China thanks to Emperor Tours. From the moment we made enquiries, Ling was so helpful and accommodating. Once we landed in Beijing we were literally treated like Emperors and taken such good care of by all our fantastic guides and drivers. Our guide Dean in Beijing was super, as was Juli in Guilin and Zack in Shanghai, all of whom are so knowledgable, kind and caring. They literally couldn't do enough for us to make sure we had a fabulous time in each of their cities. The hotels were super as was all the great food and we met some great people along the way. The itinerary was fantastic, and included several internal flights, but it all ran like clockwork, literally from start to finish. This was truly a fantastic trip. We would highly recommend Emperor Tours to everyone!

I contacted Emperor Tours as they offered a holiday to all of the places I wanted to visit in China. From the initial email and subsequent telephone calls I was very impressed with the level of knowledge from the UK office and having worked for a tour operator myself, I could tell they had first hand experience of the tours they offered.
The holiday itself was very well organised with great local guides. The holiday included 3 days on the Yangtze River with Victoria cruises. I can't speak highly enough of the staff onboard, I'm so pleased this is one of the companies which Emperor Tours uses as it shows they know the market and the standard expected by their customers.
I was recommend Emperor Tours and would definitely use them again for other holidays.

Fantastic experience from booking to completion of holiday. Ling in tour office was very helpful and made the booking and visas hassle free. The guides during the trip were very knowledgable, helpful and polite, especially Dean in Beijing. The tour is jam packed and hectic at times but needs to be to experience as much of the country and culture. Transport and hotel accommodation were superb as was all the restaurants we were taken to by the guides. Met some really nice people in our group, 7 in total so made it really nice size. We would recommend taking the ski lift to the top of the Great Wall as you need to save your energy for walking/climbing once at the top (toboggan experience down from the Wall was fun too!!)

Booking our trip to China through Emperor Tours was the best decision . Nothing is too much trouble and we received excellent advice and service .

Ling in the Emperor offices in UK was great very helpful and professional.But the operator in China changed a flight time and made our 12 day itinerary too hectic.We had good guides and full on trips which was great but very little time to relax.Local food plentiful and all in cost although you only have a limited choice off the menu.We thoroughly enjoyed out trip and saw some amazing things.Full marks to Emperor Tours for great holiday.

Ling was brilliant especially through the planning stages when we probably drove her a little mad! She was knowledgeable, patient and helpful. I believe we ended up with a really great itinerary and we absolutely loved the trip. Aside from a couple of blips that were out of their control the entire adventure went to plan. When you're in a country with so little English it was reassuring to know that we were in their hands. We were always met on time by their local on the ground guides and felt well looked after everywhere we went. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Emperor Tours again or recommend them.

We loved every minute of our China tour. We found Emperor Tours to be very flexible and responsive during the booking process and they provided plenty of information and assistance with visa application, itinerary etc
All the arrangements in China were very efficient - nice hotels, excellent local guides and all visits and activities exactly as described.

A small tour operator with very helpful and prompt customer service. Guided us through the visa application process very smoothly, very clear and helpful information provided at all stages. Excellent organised tour, which we felt was good value for money. They responded well to a couple of small improvements which we suggested on returning from our enjoyable tour.

We did enjoy our tour very much it was amazing but a few things need to be looked at. Felt we could have had longer on wall initially only given an hour and took nearly that to get down from tower 8!
The tour guides were brilliant especially Duke in Beijing and Li in shanghai very knowledgeable and friendly.
On the whole the restaurants were good but when we arrived in shanghai there were definitely some questionable choices. They were not of a standard in relation to the price we paid!
When we arrived in Hong Kong there was no one there to meet us but the staff from harbour plaza metropolis were faultless and was defiantly the best hotel on our holiday.
The worst hotel was majesty plaza shanghai the staff were unfriendly and the hotel room was in need of attention.
Amazing tour and despite these problems would definitely book with emporer again.

We have just returned from a 13 day trip in China. Everything ran smoothly and our guides, Duke in Beijing, Linda in Xi'an and Lee in Shanghai were all friendly and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic time in a beautiful country that was made even better by their friendliness and attention to detail. I would recommend Emperor Tours to anyone and would certainly holiday with their company again.

Emperor Tours heard our needs and created a great trip to Vietnam. The hotels they booked were first rate and the itinerary was excellent. All in all we were very impressed with Emperor Tours attention to detail and friendly service.

We are now back from our holiday in China and reflecting on the wonderful time we had. The tour was a fantastic experience and enabled us to see not only the main tourist spots but it also gave us an insight into the culture and history of this fascinating country. We thought that the tour had been very well planned with an excellent itinerary. The timings worked like clockwork. Our guides, Maria (Shanghai), Jackie ( Guilin) and Dean (Beijing) in particular were very knowledgeable and looked after us very well.
We upgraded our cabin on the Yangtze river cruise and had an amazing room right at the front of the ship which was perfect as we sailed through the three gorges. Standing on the Great Wall, walking through Tiananmen Square and seeing the Terracotta Warriors are moments we will never forget.
Watching the lights at night on the buildings on the Bund in Shanghai and from the Star Ferry in Hong Kong was magical. Thanks so much for putting such a great itinerary together and for organising a holiday of a lifetime for us.

We have recently returned from this trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, which included a weeks cruise down the Mekong river from Siem Reap to the river delta.
The tour was very well organised with excellent local guides.All the hotels were of a very good standard and close to local amenities.The sightseeing tours included on the itinerary were varied and in all cases very interesting and good fun especially the trip to the farm in Hoi An and rickshaw ride in Hanoi.
Angkor Wat and Angkor Tom were great places to visit but were long tiring days involving a lot of walking,but we loved this part of the trip.
The cruise down the Mekong river on the Mekong Prestige 2 had daily shore excursions with local guides and all went very smoothly with a variety of transportation used.The accommodation and the food on the ship were excellent.
This was the first time that we have used Emperor Tours and have no hesitation in recommending them as a tour company,they clearly know their stuff.

We travelled to Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia in January on a private tour organised by Emperor Tours. We altered their 'off the shelf' tour to give us non guided days at Hoi An and a longer cruise at Halong Bay, which Richard from Emperor was happy to do.
The trip was fantastic. The hotels were amazing and the menus chosen by the guides could not have been bettered. At each airport a guide and driver were waiting for us and we were so impressed by the knowledge and helpfulness of the guides. Even when our cruise on Halong Bay was cancelled because of bad weather our guide rearranged the itinerary so that we enjoyed our cruise a day later.
We would certainly recommend Emperor Tours. Their communications are first class and we will certainly be booking with them again in the future. Thankyou Richard for arranging such an amazing trip for us.

The holiday was a top notch experience. The tour guides and tour staff were very professional, friendly and helpful, the food was spectacular and the accommodation was top rate and in the centre of the cities we visited which allowed us easy access to all the wonderful sites in the cities.

Just a note to thank you for arranging my tour to Burma/Myanmar 24 December - 30 December 2015.

It was a great trip. My guide Yee of Golden Trip was very helpful and knowledgeable and 'handled' me very well! All the arrangements - travel, hotels, drivers, boatman - worked out excellently and, within the limits of a one wee
k trip to popular tourist centres, I learnt a great deal about Myanmar, Buddhism, history and culture. The Princess Resort on Inle Lake is outstanding, and worth the high prices one has to pay for it!

I will certainly recommend your services to others who wish to visit Asia on a tour. It was perfect for me!
