Went in the Breadbury store today wow what a great service from Bianca. I just had to leave a review and I usually don't. She went above and beyond to help me find a specific square driver head. Really appreciate the big help. Super star. 👍

Absolutely disgraceful. Web said it was in stock so paid to collect next day and not there. Cost me a full days pay worth over £400

Fantastic service from the Holbrook store.

Fantastic service from the Holbrook, Sheffield store. I ordered in error from High Holborn, London store but this was efficiently sorted out by the gentleman in the Holbrook store (and thanks too to the Holborn store). Not just efficient but also friendly and courteous.

Screw fix are EVIL EVIL VULTURES, STAY A WAY!

I had a situations with a book keeper/accountant where the accounts were messed up and HMRC investigated my business and although I won against HMRC, it brought my business down, and I had a year long battle trying to keep everyone at leat minimum paid.

I owed screw fix £900 (ish) and struggled to pay so got into breathing space and then the update there systems, which then allowed me to "drop off their Radar" and when I phoned in to give them an update, and get into a plan, they came straight me guns Blazing.

I informed them that I had been forced to close my company despite my best efforts and their response was "you do know your account has a Personal guarantee on it don't you?" to which I said know and when I signed up I thought it was all in the business name.

having be put through the mill for a year with things, I tried together things closed properly, and had the debts to my IP, which is the legal route, but screw fix were not having any of it.. and declined all offers my family and I were able to make.

the pressed me so hard I ended up with a rope around my neck.. as I am a carer for my 97 year old grandmother, and she is vulnerable, and I know if anyone came round they and I would be thrown out of where I live. so was ended up being pushed to border line take my own life!

I was completely out of money and have tried to start a fresh, and get back working.. but the moment I did.. they came after me and my family.

ANY firm that pushes that hard to push a bankrupt or person who is really struggling financially after a VERY rough year to attempt to take his own life is NEVER NEVER NEVER to be approached.

its has been a horrid hard process that has not been my fault and I am sorry screw fix got mixed up in it.. but my account was in the business name and legally should have gone with my write off off the business and I should never have been treated the way I was.. there is other ways deal with things like this.. pressing to the point of suicide is not the way!

only word I can say is VULTURES!

the worked out they could not go for me, so pressed till my family submitted and paid up.

don't ever use these people.. use AMAZON and make sure your customers pay you first.

this buy now pay later attitude of this culture is why Britain is where it is.. and companies like this are one of many vultures out there to stay clear of.

over priced, never have the kit in when you need it, don't deal with carpenters anyway so they say, and if you miss a payment or struggle financially, they will eat you alive.

Vultures! stay away. must be a reason why they are a luck 2 star folks.. if I could give them a minus 10 I would.

only drama is these and B&Q have the monopoly I the midlands.. and true of the UK.. if there were other chains like Bunnings (when they tried to open in the UK) or more tool shops with better customer service with no credit.. I would use them.

but these are yeah.. nasty nasty people.. and they will come after you regardless of business situation bankrupt.. tough! going through tough situation, tough! non payer tough! and if you struggle.. regardless of policy.. and if its in a business setup.. they will come after you personally with police, solicitors, courts bailiffs.. full force.. even if you communicate.

just.. yeah stay away from these people.

will NEVER NEVER NEVER use these again! EVIL VULTURES. word of the month there for these.

lost me as a customer... SEE YA!!!!

We run a plumbing company

We run a plumbing company, Three times in the last 2 months we have ordered pumps and showers they have not turned up when there supposed to .

It's getting ridiculous now . So we will not be using Screwfix again, your better off going to someone like Victoria plumbing they are far more reliable then these clowns .

I tend to use Screwfix more than my…

I tend to use Screwfix more than my other suppliers due to convenience of store locations now and would like to say that the ladies at Screwfix Hoyland are a credit to the group.
I order a lot via the app to save time and as soon as I walk through the door at hoyland they always say hello and have my order ready by the time I get to the counter in no particular order thank you Rachel,Steph,Trudi and Donna for making the day that bit brighter and easier.

Stafford Screw Fix.

Stafford branch have got a sign stating "Disabled people please ring bell for assistance"
Sadly the sign is about 10 feet away or more from the disabled vehicle parking. I suppose perhaps Screw-fix think If they are able to walk 10 feet or more they are not disabled enough to need assistance.
ALSO THEY DON'T OFFER FORCES DISCOUNT. For the size of the company you might think that Directors Renumeration's could spare a little for the Serving Forces and Vets.
It might be a false saving because I for one along with many others will be voting with their feet and not using your shop thank you.
A lot of small companies who offer the discount and advertise with posters and in the forces magazines etc are said to be really quite pleased with the foot fall they have received. A lot of forces families look for the discount so they can inform their relatives who are serving Forces and Veterans. A number of them will also avoid the non discount shops out of moral Standard.
Lets see if this provokes a thought when the directors have their next meeting.

THEN an sms arrives TWO HOURS AFTER THE STORE SHUTS to say it's ready to collect.
NOT THE FIRST TIME AND THE COMPANY DIRECTORS NEED TO TAKE OWNERSHIP FOR WASTED JOURNEYS, THE CONSEQUENTIAL POLLUTION AND WASTED TIME.
Please, no platitudes, just fix your fundamental SCREWUP

Ordered a new codelock door handle for…

Ordered a new codelock door handle for store delivery next day. I am based in Leeds and the property that needs the door handle is not. Ordered for store collection to nearest store to the property for the tradesman to collect. But oh not, this is not possible, you have to provide the card that you made the payment with on collection otherwise they won't release the goods. The call centre also couldn't put me through to the actual store manager to speak to them to see if he would allow the goods to go on a new card payment. Absolutley ridicilous. I can't be the only company who's offices are not based in the same location as where the goods are needed. Stupid system with no work around.

Brilliant

My car recently broke down and the safest place for me to park while I waited for the AA was the Screwfix store in Burton on Trent.
Having explained my predicament to the lovely and very kind staff and apologising for parking there as I felt it was a safe space. The staff cannot have been more helpful and understanding, so I’d like to thank them for their kindness and looking after a woman on her own with a broken down car. They are a credit to the company and I hope this is recognised by senior management.

Absolutely Dreadful Customer Service

I required barbed wire urgently due to theft from my property. I went into the Screwfix App and was told I could collect Next Day which would be Saturday . I ordered the wire and a few hours later received anm message saying the order would be available on WEDNESDAY .
On the Wednesday I went into the branch and was told the item was in yet . I explained to the assistant about being promised delivery Saturday and he replied ' Yeah loads of people complain about that but because the location (Wick) we don't do Next Day. I asked him why does the App say it does and he shrugged.
I contacted thier Customer Service and I got a reply from George. He blandly said sorry your weren't told it would be Wednesday , end of. He basically couldn't care less.
I will never use Screwfix again. The Customer Service is an absolute disgrace.

UPDATE
Screwfix read my review and told me to contact them at I duly did and all I got back was the same insipid bland reply .

If I'd known you use Royal Mail I would never have ordered from you. I paid £10 delivery for a reason, so it was no good suggesting I collect a replacement. I have paid someone to fit the item I ordered for today. What an utter let down.

Absolutely useless

DPD sent me a letter to sign so they can investigate why my Screwfix order failed to be delivered???????This is disgusting, Screwfix do not want to get involved...........Paid next day delivery and cancelled my order because dpd were sending messages saying that THEY failed to get it delivered. Never using Screwfix again and I have spent a serious amount with them renovating our home the past 7 years. Toolstation from now on as they are much better
