That’s why our nationwide network of out-of-hours pet emergency clinics are open through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays, so we’re ready and waiting to provide expert pet emergency care when your regular vet is having some time off.

Our pet emergency clinics are the pet equivalent of A&E and our purpose is to give you and your pet the care and support you deserve, at the time you need it most, whether it’s four in the morning or in the middle of Sunday lunch.

Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. So whether you’re in Aberdeen, Belfast or Portsmouth we’re there for you and your pet when you need us most.

We’ve also pioneered other ways to help pets, pet owners and the veterinary profession, such as our comprehensive referrals service and providing our staff with industry-leading training and development opportunities. Have submitted a complaint

Have submitted a complaint. The only person I would give 5* to is the vet who did the surgery on our dog. The first vet we saw lacked compassion and care which was during a very upsetting time.

Extremely welcoming

Extremely welcoming , understanding of situation and very efficient regarding dealing with my Great Dane who had cut his hind foot very badly and was losing a lot of blood.

Staff helpful and friendly

Staff helpful and friendly. Just the price I dreadful. Was told to take insurance and the cost could be added onto that but when I arrived they demanded the money.

They courteous of the staff when we walked in which
made us feel very welcome.
The Vet and the Triage Nurse who we saw on Sunday
were excellent. The Vet explained what was wrong
with out cats eye and treated accordingly.

we are being chased for a payment for a…

we are being chased for a payment for a visit on 23/2 and we never visited on that date. We have never given instruction to vets now- emergency and pay for treatment at the time. They wont speak to me as my wifes name is on the account yet they have my mobile. They told me the other day that they are nothing to do with MyVets and then changed their story when I pointed out they had the same Directors and owners. Utter confusion and expensive, creating business clouds to confuse staff.

Paid over £400 horrible service

Paid over £400 and £300 being to see my dog who was in pain and the vet couldn’t have cared less about my situation and didn’t seem one slight bit interested
The only time he was happy was when we was building my invoice to pay
Lady at reception was nothing but nice and really relatable
But the bloke vet wasn’t a good vibe

Vets Now charged me £347 for OOH…

Vets Now charged me £347 for OOH consultation fee! The final bill was over £500 and they had no idea what was wrong with him. Disgusting. Be warned and go elsewhere.

They were super helpful and calm

They were super helpful and calm, answered all my questions sent through everything I needed ASAP making a stressful event much easier to handle. The vet and all the staff were amazing.

Great staff, good service!

From arrival, staff were so welcoming and kind. My dog had to stay overnight and they reassured me that I could call for updates at any time. I felt informed regarding his treatment and costs every step of the way. The vet was thorough and kind and explained everything thoroughly.

Thank you so much for all the care u gave to som he is now back to his normal self chasing with his sister and brother he has nearly healed completely he has a little scar but he is still gorgeous and sweet and loving thank you all for what you done for him and looking after him so well x

Friday 10th April

Friday 10th April, Our cat Missy wasn’t well, not eating and shivering, we took her to VetsNow at Clayton le Dale nr Preston.The staff are great and the head vet she is brilliant and was great with Missy. When she diagnosed the problem she was put on a drip and stayed there over night. We collected her on Saturday morning and Missy was much more like her self.
The service was great though at a cost Missy have been fine since she’s been home. Thank to the head vet and VetsNow, thanks Alan.

2nd late night visit with my 8 month…

2nd late night visit with my 8 month old Cockapoo puppy who became unwell late evening. Excellent care and plenty of information regarding possible causes and estimated costs. The treatment given was successful and I was able to take him home early morning.

Poor service, lack of care

I brought my Cavapoo into the emergency vets as he had hurt his leg. He was crying and holding the paw up to which the vet asked which leg was it 3 times.
He seemed unwilling to examine him and more interested in writing up previous notes. He asked ME if I think we should xray him and seemed the only advise he had was to keep him in a cage for a week.
I asked for an injection for pain relief to which he said no.
When I went back to Vets 4 Pets the next day I was advised he should have had an injection and the painkillers prescribed were not adequate for the pain Rascal was in. He also didn’t let me know if he could take the medication alongside his other pain relief.
The consultation was £320, it’s not the cost that matters but the level of service and care was appalling. I then spent another £90 less than 12 hours later at Vets4Pets.
