For the cost of the new walking through…
For the cost of the new walking through the door. £302 later was in there not even 5 mins. Took mum and newborn puppies, as I thought there was a problem with one which thankfully not. But never checked the others or the mum over. The service has a shockingly expensive.

Supportive staff
We brought our cat in to be checked for a recurrent issue, as the normal vet was not available. The staff was nothing but supportive and the vet that saw us was sympathetic, thorough, and took all our concerns into consideration.

Everything was very attentive . . Just the time it took to see someone when my dog was ill and I was stressed was really the issue.

Amazing staff, extortionate prices.
I took my cat to this vet practice after he broke his leg during their after hours. The staff was amazing and helpful but like all vets, the prices are extortionate. I don’t understand how can vet practices be so expensive. If it was a review just on staff, it would be 5 stars. Unless you are rich, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Vet hospital saved my Whippet’s life
Saved my whippet Aiyana from dying, after she had food poisoning from a plant on her morning walk. Poisoning took full effect around tea time and after an emergency visit to a local vet, who kindly stayed open until after 7pm. Advised to take her to vetsnow hospital in Herne Bay, Kent.
Great work through the night and Aiyana was ready to come home in the morning, brilliant, thank you very much.

Emergency care saved her life
We found ourselves in an emergency with our cat. Vets Now were brilliant and very quick to give her the life-saving treatment needed immediately and were able to stabilise her.
Without this treatment, I'm sure she wouldn't be with us today.

Emergency visit
Our cat was unable to breath properly ,the emergency vets and day ones were absolutely amazing, professional with constant updates with our lovely cats progress and treatment.they didn't discharge her till they made a diagnosis and explained everything

DO NOT USE Vets Now unless you are happy to pay round sum Admin Fees, twice the price for a blood test, excessive Out of Hours Call cost of over £320 and other costs that our Insurer, Animal Friends refused to pay, as they are either unsubstatiated and/or too much! They also are opaque about their ultimate owners controlling both your vet and Vets Now and other matters that The Competion and Markets Authority investigation of March 2026 highlighted.

A few insurers will apply a limit to fees they will pay in certain scenarios, however there are many insurers who will pay our full fees. This is unfortunately not something which Vets Now have any control over.
In terms of the insurance administration fee which Vets Now charges, the veterinary surgeon is making a professional declaration that, to the best of their knowledge and belief, all information provided on the form is true and complete and that the fees charged are no more than the fees they would normally charge their clients. Completion of the form is more than an act of administration, rather a professional statement, similar to a doctor’s letter for example, which would be required to verify information given to an insurance company. As such, completion of the form attracts a fee.
