Was told by a different vet my cat wouldn't make it till Monday and was best to pts however vet now saved my boy and gave him a clean bill of health and I couldn't be more grateful they went above and beyond to make sure he gets the correct medication for his condition to improve the quality of life he has.

The staff really put me at ease after my 11 month old puppy cut his leg open at the beach. They went above and beyond with their care and support.

We came as I had stood on our puppy’s paw and we were worried. We were in the surgery 7 minutes and there was nothing wrong with her we were charged £302 plus the vet was laughing saying ohhh is this your first baby making out we were over the top

After having a bad experience elsewhere we chose to admit our very poorly cat to Yorkshire vets and vets now happened to be taking over mayo’s care over the bank holiday. I have absolutely nothing bad to say, every single team member was amazing. They firstly stabilised our cat but explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions, we had daily updates and they were always happy to chat / calm our nerves. They were gentle and loving with mayo, we could see that mayo felt comfortable and was well looked after despite his circumstances. They allowed us to be in charge of mayos care and make choices based on what they and we felt comfortable with. They were very open and honest about costs and how to potentially reduce cost via going down other routes. We could not be happier with the care mayo has received / is receiving.

It really is a scam to take advantage of you at your most vulnerable. £400 for a 10 minute consultation and the vet to give me 5mls of meds that my pet doesn’t even need.

They were very nice and helpful and clearly explained the treatment my pet was being given

Excellent care and good advice for our cat Poppie. Only down side is your pricing £300+ for an emergency consultation. Rather excessive even for a bank holiday.

The cost, plain and simple and I am non the wiser what's up with my dog staff were excellent but looking at other reviews am not the 1st to question bank holiday costs

Fantastic service.

While they were quick to see us, the cost was excessive: £302.50 for a consultation and £94.54 for just 15ml of Metacam. Out-of-hours care shouldn’t mean such extreme mark-ups, particularly on medication.
There were also basic shortcomings. Our cat’s temperature wasn’t taken, which was surprising, and there’s no separate waiting area for cats, adding unnecessary stress. On top of that, we were left waiting just to pay the bill, which only made the experience worse.

Overall, the care was efficient, but the pricing felt disproportionate and the experience unnecessarily stressful. No doubt Vets Now will respond with their usual line about “the higher cost of running an out-of-hours service” and their pricing policy but that completely misses the point.
